That's not a pro! LOL!
Why do I personally like being a girl?
It's not all about the frilly crap...that's just a perk.
I love that as a woman I'm in touch with my emotions. I enjoy the fact that I'm moved by the greatest and smallest of things. I can cry at a movie or a commercial. Some may see this as weakness, but I see it as sensitivity.
I like being a girl because I have challeges than men don't. I have society telling me to do one thing and my heart telling me to do another. I like the fact that now-a-days I don't HAVE to be or act a certain way. I love our freedom to be mothers, lovers, successful, spiritual (being able to be pastors if we want), strong, independant, dependant, capable of more, educated, heard...
I like how when I speak people listen to me because I'm a woman and because I present myself to such standards that people take interest in what I have to say.
I like how many compliments I've gotten in the past year about how much I've grown as a women and how STRONG I've become. How I didn't give up when faced with difficult situations and how I've stood my ground.
I LOVE how as a woman (and this comes from a recent personal experience) I can have you convinced that I'm passive and then when offered a job that I believe is being offered because they can "pay me less" I come back and say DAMNIT, I'm worth something. Pay me what I'm worth...ya didn't see that coming now did you!!!!????
