I can understand the anger (if Jim Calhoun left, I'd be pretty mad), but...

This was a different set of circumstances. Williams had already turned down Carolina once, and in doing so had kind of let down his mentor, Dean Smith. Carolina is where he played, started coaching, and really where his heart was. He stayed to see his senior class of Collison and Hinrich leave, which is what he wanted.

He followed his dream, more power to him.
