The English Al-Jazeera website (I don't think it's up yet) is at: http://english.aljazeera.net/

On second thought... I just saw a grawl on one of the news networks stating that the English Al-Jazeera website was a victim of a hacker attack and is temporarily down.

ARYA, do you have any insight on what is REALLY happening on the Turkish border??? Also, what is the feeling on the question-"Injured, dead or alive?"
So far, what I've herd from SA inteligence (believe it or not, they're really good. Though the CIA on tactics for interogation, then again, they were remenant of Apartheid) the Turks are backing off for now, so it's quite on the northern front.

The interesting will be how the IRanian will deal with this. So far, they have more then 2 million refugees on their border, they're thinking about closing their border because they can't take anymore refugees. The british government are thinking about sending aids money to Iran so they can cope with the refugees from both Afghanistan and Iraq. Also, latest news is that a missile has struck marketplace. This might be bad, as today's liberator can easily turned into tommorows enemy. Let's hope they open the port quickly so aids can come in.

Thanks sweetheart!

Also, latest news is that a missile has struck marketplace.

Heard this yesterday but I haven't tuned in today. I HOPE they find it isn't one of ours...
I wish we would keep our missiles out of Iran!

It appears later evidence points to a stray Iraqi antiaircraft round or a missile... what goes up, must come down -- and it doesn't discriminate where it lands. But it is convenient for Iraqi TV to throw the blame at the Coalition forces for wasting a marketplace... great negative PR.

Yes, they say the crater is not consistent with the missiles we use. BTW, this was in a Shiite neighborhood. FYI, the Shiites oppose Saddam and his regime. What a convenient coincidence this is to be blamed on the allies

What sounds very curious to me is that there was damage on both sides of a street, but not the street itself if I understood the first reports. As if two missles were used.

I don't think that works for either theory -- two of ours or one of theirs.

The cynic in me might think that the Iraqis might have set this up for their own purposes.

Of course I don't know that to be true.
