To be honest, I am not really grossed out by the ads, but I do think that they are quite tasteless. Some things should not be done.

Unhappy

OK, we all know that the media sells sex, but this is ridiculous!! Where are the limits! It's supposed to be advertising not porn.

Lightbulb Hmmm

I guess I don't think the Guicci ad is that bad. It's a little over the top for the US, but not for Europe where I believe it was originally run. Sex and the human body are a lot more open and talked about in Europe. Subsequently, I believe they have lower rates of sexual crimes. So I don't know, maybe it's not the worst thing in the world. However, if they ever start running the ad w/the naked man in the US everyone (except the gay community) is going to have a fit.

I don't see what's tasteless, vulgar, or offensive about any of the ads. The Gucci add was not something that was going in childrens mags. but stuff like the european versions of GQ. The third ad I thought was actully visually interesting too. I think most of you have taken your views that sex is wrong a little far. The human body is beautiful and if it sells who cares. The Europeans have a much more open view on sex and ads and our closed minded "puritan" views just result in more sex crimes, STDs, and unwanted pregnacies because people refuse to admit sex exists...

It has nothing to do with being close-minded, prude, or whatever. It has to do with the fact that no one wants to see some woman's poontang hair!!!

GROSS!!
