He might as well just come out and say it.

LOL, yeah, no kidding!

I recall reading about some 'little people' that they once played in Major League Baseball back in the early 20th century to sell tickets. They actually were fairly successful since their strike zone was so small.
Manute's just screwed unless they intend to have him just lay down in front of the goal and block the whole thing

I know if this article was about cc1gc, people would lined up for miles to get into the arena to watch the freak show on ice.

You didn't have to pay did you? If so, you got ripped off.

Mea culpa. Mr. Ming torched the Lakers for 20 points. Mr. Daddy, please come back.

It was only one "little person" who they had play in a major league game - it was Eddie Gaedel for the St. Louis Browns. Bill Veeck owned the team at the time, and if you don't know anything about Veeck, he loved anything that would create attendance. He also had 10 cent beer nights, Disco Demolition Night, and a bunch of other promotions like it.
Veeck signed Gaedel to a one-day major league contract for the publicity stunt. Gaedel was at bat once, walked on 4 pitches, and was pinch-ran for. After this, MLB made a rule against such events happening again.
