I can't imagine. It would be like Shaq being a baseball player, although he would prolly be a quality first baseman and could knock the catcher's block off at the plate.

at the Lakers' 2-6 start.

That is the dumbest thing i've ever seen...he thinks he can just strap on a pair of skates and be as agile as men who've been skating since they were 5....first shift someone will lay him out with a hipcheck, guaranteed.

oh man one of my friends here at uml is 7 feet tall and walking beside him is so humbling.. i'm short as it is, and when someone is almost 2 feet taller than you it really puts life into perspective...

as for ice skating, i don't think that's gonna work out for him.. "the taller they are, the harder they fall"... most of our ice skaters are rather short, and UML has a pretty good team, top ten nationally last year.

No one would have to hit him...as soon as he stepped out onto the ice he would fall over.

They are'nt going to play him...just dress him in order to sell tickets

who's to say someone won't take a run at him in practice? I know i would...and what's the point of dressing him up on skates for him to sit on the bench, no one would see him....

Do you think he would actually make it to practice? They guy can't even skate, it's all a publicity stunt. Oh, and people would see him...he's over 7 feet tall.

Exactly, its just news to get people riled up and want to go see it in person.

I know if this article was about cc1gc, people would lined up for miles to get into the arena to watch the freak show on ice.

I like how, in the article, the general manager keeps trying to come up with euphemisms for "we're doing this for the money."

He might as well just come out and say it.
