uh, i totally understand your outrage and concern..but who ever said ANYTHING about 21 shots? all he asked was what are some good shots for him to purchase his brother for his 21st birthday, an exact amount was never specified.

And besides, when I was at the bars during college, the GDIs were drinking just as much as the Greeks! I don't think Greeks are the only people who participate in this, albeit insane and stupid, 21st birthday act.

I agree, there is just as much drinking among GDI's. BUT, we do accept a certain responsibility to uphold the image of Greeks. AND, we are always bitching on here about how bad Greeks are made to look. Maybe we should look at our own behavior that could be contributing to our image!

The school's Greek Life Advisor was at the bar drinking with what I'd assume are his fraternity brothers.

It is legal to buy and consume alcohol for the friend that is 21. And certainly knowing what kind of shots are out there and learning about new ones is also not a crime. The amount of alcohol consumed is up to the individual.
My suggestion:
1/2 Peppermint schnapps
Chocolate Syrup
Peppermint Patty

Wow, that's like the new, trendy shot on the Front Range. I'm constantly amazed by how many people have and haven't heard of it. Even more amazed that it actually tastes just like cake!
Anyway, I think it's best with Stoli Vanil.

Just out of curiosity, why do you drop the shot glass in as well? Why not just pour a shot in?

By just pouring the shot in, it doesn't allow the drink to "fizz". Also, I don't think it tastes as good or something like that. I dunno. I just remember on my 21st when I started to pour it in a bunch of people were like, "Noooooo!!!!!!!! Don't!!!!!!!!!!"

As for those of you asking about why you drop it...
You have to drop it and slam it... if not it will start to kind of curdle (gross) and not taste as good.
Drop it, slam it and it tastes like chocolate milk!
