jordan
i think jordan needs to de pledge.... she has a totally negative attitude towards the house and i dont think she would be happy as a memeber... yes, she does have some reasons to be pissed, but she talks hella crap about girls that could be her sisters..... she is a hypocrite being offended by the sisters talking bad about her when she does the same thing.. just my thoughts

I wonder...
Since we see that Amanda and Candance is in the formal pictures, I wonder how the rest of the sisters reacted to Amanda and Candance talking about how they are going to depledge. They really act like they don't care about anything that has to do with the sorority. I think it was such a waste of time to pledge them. They should of never gotten a bid. I hope the next season has better pledges.

I work on Monday nights but try to catch up as much as I can...
I think Jordan will leave and take Amanda with her.
I would like to say that all I hear on the show is how much the new members have given to this chapter and how they deserve more...did I miss a few shows, or are they not showing anything?
When I was a new member I was always doing things with my chapter it seems like we are lucky to see them at a meeting...maybe it's just me?

HAHA, I am watching the marathon too!!! I didnt start watching from the beginning, so I am finnally catching up on all the episodes that you guys have been talking about. I am DYING to find out who got initiated. I think it would be kind of unfair not to initiate all of them. Seems to me that if they were part of panhellenic, that that would be considered some form of hazing or something to extend some people's pledge period, and not others.

Someone doesn't pass their Sorority Exam
Check out the TV Guide blurb in the front portion about Sorority Life. One of the pledges doesn't pass her exam and some comment is made about not going to med school. Between that and the preview I'm wondering if Deedee isn't initiated.
For those who don't have access to the TV guide here is exactly what it says:
"The finale of this giddy reality show may disappoint those who hope to be initiated into the mysteries of Sigma. The big ceremony is off limits to cameras. But there's still pleny of reality style passion as one pledge fails her sorority exam (better forget about med school) and sexpot troublemaker Jordan agonizes over whether to join at all. Life ends as it began, in a tangle of tears, hugs and well conditioned curls."
I wish it was Monday already,
Carolyn

I have to admit i knew the marathon was onyesterday but i got soooo deeply into this one movie, "Last Don" on USA that i forgot all about it and was watching that. My question really was.... What happened on last week's show. I know the week before Jordon and her big sis had words exchanged in the computer room and jordon stormed off but i missed this weeks episode. I need to be filled in badly! hehehehehe i am hooked!

Don't forget - a bunch of us have been meeting in the chatroom during the show!
No doubt we'll be there during the finale too.

The Barbie Doll commercials are beyond hilarious! Looking back on some of the older shows it is easier to see how insecure Jordan (and an emotional basketcase to boot) was from the very beginning and her strong personality or outward manifestations were just a mask. It still surprises me to no end how the sisters and pledges couldn't get closer or break through some of those walls in 10 weeks. I'm sure they have a ritual but they really seemed to be planning the pledge process as they went along and seemed really unprepared to deal with the issues that arose. Big Mistake #1 was allowing the six housed pledges to feel as though they had dominion and control over the pledge house - I would have had so many activities there and been there when they moved in so it was clear that it was the PLEDGE HOUSE that they happened to be sleeping in and not have the "oh by the way, here are the rules" or "let's have a sleepover at your house to fix the pledge class division" attitude.
Also, listening to some of the Sigmas comments and reactions during the Rush activities (edited as they were) makes me side a little more with Jordan in terms of her not really being given a chance - almost every Jordan "concern" was gossip and hearsay from outsider to sister or sister to sister and that's not cool nor is it sisterly. It surprised me that Amanda was sort of bunched in with that "atypical" Sigma rushee from the start - she seemed more like them than anyone, but I'm not sure if she's Jewish so maybe that is what they meant.

I'm catching the marathon too... I missed about 90% of the season, but caught most of the "highlights" (like that drunken pledge who hit the glass door) on GC. It is so much funnier to watch them
The barbie doll commericals are hilarious too. I haven't seen a barbie doll of jessica... did i miss it? or is there not one for her?

Pictures from the night of Initiations
Pictures from the Blue and Gold Dinner are on-line at:
http://www.pbase.com/betastar/bg
Yes, these are pictures just of the dinner and the presentation. No camera or microphone would ever be let into the actual Initiation ceremony.
