Taking a cue from UCLAgirl, I Honestly don't know where this came from. I work at this University and it seems a little off-base I with the rest.....

In a related story, I attended UC Santa Barbara and let me tell you, I am blown away that UCSB wasn't in the top ten. CRAZY people in that town (not that I never partook but..... )

this year according to liquor stores (i read this in a newspaper last winter), OU (ohio) was supposed to have bought more alcohol than Ohio State and Miami of Ohio....so i guess that makes us a pretty big party school although we're not on the list....after all we're much smaller than Ohio State.......
Case in point - UCSB had 6 establishments you could buy hard alcohol from within 1 block of each other - and this was 1 block from campus!!!

ok, i'm not exactly sure the exact number, i'm sure deltalum can back me up on this one, but at OU there are around 20 or so bars in a two block radius uptown all within walking distance of every dorm and student house on campus.

also, totally unrelated, i'm relatively new to greek chat so how do i get the greek letters into my signature. thanx.

I don't care what college you go to the parties are all the same you just have to know where to look. I think the princeton review is a bias study because it was not offered everywhere. I you look at how they did research it was just based on where the researchers went and/or who they contacted. So maybe they went to IU for two weeks and only to Purdue for one who knows how true it is.
