I've always wanted to get one, but could never decide on what. I never asked anyone, but always assumed the crest, pins, etc were off limits. (Am I right?) Made sense to me. I never thought about the dagger or katydid. The one I like the best is a shamrock. Plus I'm Irish, so it makes sense. And I went to a school where St. Pat's was a HUGE deal! (Rolla, in case you've ever heard of the celebration).

Anyhow, I guess this is a question.. Is there any way we can incorporate the letters? Or is that strictly forbidden? I've thought about having the letters & my pin # incorporated into a small design.. So if you didn't know they were there, you might not even see them. My ex-boyfriend had an absolutely amazing one done on his ankle. It was an older drawing that was in one of their books, and is associated with the Fraternity, but isn't a no-no for something like that.

I'd still like to get a small one, but would wanna be 100% sure on the drawing beforehand. Have pics drawn up & stuff.

Does anyone here have a tattoo they regret getting?

This is exactly why I'd never get a tattoo!

Plus, the fact that I don't like pain!

Plus, the fact that I couldn't imagine myself as an old grandmother, sporting a tattoo!!

You guys are nutty!!!! But I still love ya!

Everything that I've heard says that KD and AOT are strictly off-limits for tattoos. I had wanted to get AOT worked into my rose vine, but I had just been initiated and didn't want to upset any apple carts. I'm sure your pin number is fine to put on there (I have two (long story) so I never thought about putting mine on my tattoo, so I've never asked about it).

I've never once regretted my tattoo in the four years I've had mine.

After looking over the revised COHB, "it is considered to be in poor taste (and is an improper use of registered marks) to have the Kappa Delta crest, badge, the words "Kappa Delta," or the greek letters "KD" tattooed on the body."

I personally do not have any KD related or other tattoos. I don't plan on getting one either. They are great ways to express one's individuality, but they are just not for me. (But if I ever were to get one, it would definitely be KD related.)

I have a dagger with a white rose around it on my belly. To others it is just something cute but to me it means so much more!
