Ah, so THAT'S where my twin went! I refuse to spend more than $10 on a pair of sunglasses because I can't keep them for more than six months. Even my cheap ones.
I have a small head, and adult-size sunglasses don't fit me properly. I have found that the absolute best place to buy sunglasses is the Limited Too. They're about $10 a pair and they are soooo cute and they fit great!

I suffer from the inverse rule too -- actually, even when they are cheap I lose them. I go thru 3-4 pairs a year, so I stick w Target's Mossimo glasses and I love them.

I must be in the minority here...
Just call me "Blind Lil Snakey K"
I have to be extraordinarily careful with my sunglasses because they are prescription and I can't see well enough to drive without them.

My favorite are the Revos I just got for Christmas. I love the polarized lenses. I can wear them all the time, even when driving in the rain cause they cut the glare.

Wow, I didnt realize Target had cute sunglasses. Im gonna have to go check it out cause I too lose many sunglasses, especially being out here in AZ where we are always at the pool. I try to only wear my expensive ones to school or outside events that you dress nice for.

So I am reviving this post...and yes class, I used search
I can't find a pair of decent looking sunglasses for my face for the life of me. The single pair I had that actually looked good for my facial features I bought near a flea market. They were "Frada"- Prada knock offs (costing me a pretty penny at $15!!!) and ultimately were broken by the mean, savage airport men searching my carry-on. Because, yes I deserved all of my items thrown out onto a table for all the world to see... Thank you.
So, I need suggestions on quality, brand, shape, etc. I have tried and tried different brands, but I break them, lose them, or they just look plain dumb.

I completely agree. I have a pair of Dolce's, but I barely wear them because I am so scared to break them/scratch them.
I have a pair from Forever21 that I wear everyday... They were FOUR bucks. I've gone through probably 3 pairs of sunglasses in the past year from Forever21 because I lose them! One pair I actually sat on when I was on the beach. Oops.

I have a pair of Chanel glasses, I got them on E bay... so they weren't full price... but still pricey... I've had them almost a year now, so I'm VERY proud of myself.
I also have a pair of Ralph Lauren glasses that were on sale at Macy's for like 25 that I wear when there is a possibility of losing my others.

Glitter- How reliable is ebay when it comes to having "real" designer things? I am always worried when I find things on there from Chanel, Gucci, etc. that they will be fake.

OMG I can't keep a pair of sunglasses to save my life. BUT I got a cute pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction sunglasses at Ross for $9.95. I've had them a month and haven't lost them. This could be a record.

If they state that they are genuine, and you find out otherwise, you can go through the E bay complaint process and get your money back.
Also mine came from an actual vendor that just happens to also sell on E bay,not a private person, they also have a regular webiste that I checked out, and a bricks and mortar location in Florida somwhere... so that made me trust it more.

My favorite pair of sunglasses were smashed when I dropped them & some asswipe stepped on them before I could retrieve them.
I am now in the market for new ones but have to start looking. I saw some beautiful D&G sunglasses that I'd love to have but I too fall under the inverse rule of losing anything expensive and having cheap ones stick around forever. Damn.
ETA: It's hard to find sunglasses for me b/c my face is really round. I'm talking bowling ball with hair and the cutest sunglasses make me look like a pumpkin with glasses on.

I can never find sunglasses that totally fit my face. So I just get whatever's in the drug store or the gas station if I need a pair to keep in my car. The last ones I bought were Revlon and they're just okay.

The more I pay for sunglasses, the quicker they go missing. I've given up on "name" sunglasses, and look for the necessities, like 100% UVA protection and a high nose bridge - then buy three or four of the same ones!

I have a pair of Halston sunglasses that I love. Since I only use them for driving, I store them in the glove compartment so that I won't lose them.
I always have to put everything away right away otherwise I lose them. As soon as I get inside the house, I put my keys back into my purse. Otherwise, I would be like my roommate whose always running around trying to remember where she threw down her keys when she's already running late.
