"Future Delta", hmm? Gimme a sec to pop some popcorn. This could get interesting.

I HATE this. The OP has not been back to defend herself, explain why she is the PERFECT Delta and in fact should probably be allowed to skip MIP entirely, or even to flounce and call us all big nasty meanies!

We just can't have any fun anymore...

I pledged at Vanderbilt, and that was some years ago, so I wouldn't be able to give you an idea about what the fees would be for a BGLO today. I can tell you that just because you are popular and talented does not qualify you as an automatic future member of any greek letter organization.

We don't take no poplars. You don't have a chance unless you a maple or an oak.

I can't find *any* sororities with an official tree. So far, just sort of googling, I've found the following fraternities

Alpha Psi Lambda (NALFO, co-ed) - Palm
Sigma Nu (NIC)- White Oak
Alpha Phi Omega(PFA, co-ed service) - Sturdy Oak...

For sororities:

Delta Delta Delta (NPC) -- pine tree
Alpha Sigma Alpha (NPC) -- palm tree

As for fraternities, there is also, of course, Acacia

And I would imagine in the situation where the fraternity/sorority flower is a flower on a tree (like a Magnolia), that the tree would be defacto official.

But none of them a poplar...
On the other hand, maybe within the next 100 years, we can have an actual Dolphin pledge Delta Delta Delta...

Forget that, we're pledging Jesus and Hermes.

Interesting how the OP hasn't replied to explain how she is totally going to be a Delta.
