I see necklaces (long) with pearls on the strand mixed with other stones whatever. But the Breakfast at Tiffanys...not so much. BUT if you like them...wear them! (Just know, if they are real do not get body lotion on or near them and no perfume on the pearls.)
Never mind about the perfume....you probably aren't wearing any to the parties.
ChioLu: I am showing my age...collegiate strands of pearls were NOT 80s...they were the...gulp...50s. The 60s and 70s for mommy types.....and beyond. Yes, I wear them...girls...not so much.

As for the pearls, I'm from the South so pearls are usually considered stereotypical "sorority attire." I agree they might be a little old fashioned - I'll switch it up! Thanks for the advice guys. I can't wait for recruitment!
