I just hate it when women judge you from first impressions and they totally think they have you down and they dont.

Oh, I don't want you to think that I wrote him off for that little comment. I like watching TV too - even the silly little WB shows. But that isn't all I do.
By that point (during the movie previews), I had already spent about 1 1/2 hours with him. The four of us (me, guy, my sorority sister, and her BF) had gone to get some food. It was VERY obvious by that point that the guy was a total idiot.
I had been trying to make small talk with him, ask him about what he did for fun, etc. Apparently ALL he ever did was work out, watch TV and model. And he couldn't even really talk about any of that. I'd already been told his major (one of those phys. ed. majors where you work out, and learn about how to tell other people how to work out). He didn't seem to ever read anything for class.
I even tried to ask him about what kind of TV shows he liked. I mean, this board is evidence that Dawson's Creek can inspire some pretty insightful conversation, right? No luck there.
Just from the overall conversation you could see he wasn't the brightest. That plus the confused looks when I would use words with multiple syllables.
The TV comment wasn't the whole reason I wrote him off, it was just the straw that broke the camel's back. It just confirmed what I had been guessing the previous hour or so.
