Volgirl,

I mean no disrespect. I know that Tenn is a good football team. Heck I know that Tenn has a great sports program. I just have a slight dislike of Tenn (it's nothing personal) God you should see me when the Lady Vols come to town I really want LSU to win,but if Tenn wins, I'll be happy for them because the best team won.

No hard feelings,ok?

The point is that players on the opposite teams showed a lack of class and sportmanship. I have never heard of any team,be it college or pro stomping on the opposing teams mascot that's on the field. I've never heard of players going over to the opposing team's student section and tauting their fans after a game

I thought it really sucked that Miami beat Tech and only by 2. What a great upset that would be if Miami did lose to Tech. I say down with the BCS....Especially the fact that Techs point difference will probably make any team that plays Miami in the Rose Bowl look pretty bad. I say Tech should be No. 2.

Prospectiverushee---I see where you're coming from. It's really sad, but I guess I see it (stomping on the mascot on the field/taunting the home team) almost everytime someone comes to play at FSU that I assumed it happened everywhere. Definitely doesn't make it right and I'm certainly not condoning it...I think it's just normal game time rowdiness that got out of hand.

I know!! Miami also had a scare a couple of weeks ago against Boston College. They (UM) were losing and if it wasn't for an interception in the last couple of minutes of the game they would have been sorely upset. This has been a strange year for college football, even though Miami is undefeated I wouldn't say they are an untouchable team....

I just think its about time that Tech get the national credit they deserve. Granted they play a pretty easy schedule but that doesnt make it right.

Do you really feel VA Tech isn't nationally respected? I thought they were. FSU and Tech played for the national championship a couple of years ago..and wasn't Vick up for the Heisman at some point (maybe last year)? I haven't really watched them this year but I always felt they had a very good, solid team.

Yeah, I dont. I've watched them pretty closely over the years and I agree that they have come a long way. Vick did a lot for that team and they certinally are respected more. But I think that they still deserve more. What they need is to win a national title.

Thanks Ex for steering the topic back on track. I really hope that Josh Reed will stay. He's probably one of the best things to happen to LSU football since Kevin Faulk.

You knew I would reply because you know I'm one of those rabid Tiger fans!!!!! LOL. Anyways...I see the game being really really really close. I think it will be just like the game last year in Death Valley. It should be pretty close all game long with them tying it up right before the end of the 4th quarter and LSU winning in overtime. But then again...I'm no sports analyst so we'll just have to wait and see.
