NO WIRE HANGERS!!

I'll throw Troll 2, Polyester (anything by John Waters fits here), and BIRDEMIC into the ring as delightfully horrid.

I'm not sure John Waters' oeuvre really counts, because his stuff is bad on purpose. I love it, though.

Ever see any of his pre-Polyester films?

I've seen Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble, and Desperate Living but nothing pre-PF.

Unreal. It's hard to believe that people actually thought this film was even passable, let alone something to release. I laughed harder at this movie than I have at any other in years, and I was watching it by myself...

Troop Beverly Hills. It's so awful, but I have to watch if I come across it.

I put Legally Blonde in there as my BF makes fun of me for watching it over and over.

Also love Center Stage.

I agree with both! I see your LB and CS and raise you a Clerks 2. It's so stupid, completely not my style of humor and yet I could NEVER watch it too many times. That movie cracks me up.

Concur 100%. I love that movie, even though it is terrible and completely unrealistic.

I have to love some bad 90's movies like The Craft, which is so bad, but completely addictive. Of course, my poor ten year old self loved it (but should not have been watching it). And yes, I bought it on DVD for $3.99.

And it's sad, but I love bad Lifetime movies. My absolute favorite is Pregnancy Pact. It's so terrible, but I still cried at the end. I have issues.

Hackers - Johnny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie and 90s graphics of how sexy hacking is. Plus Fisher Stevens as a cool bad guy named "The Plague"

This dates me, but, whatever... saw a green VW at the stoplight recently with the license plate "soylent"- a diet coke up the nose while driving moment. This, of course, reminded me of this thread, as Soylent Green was a pretty silly movie starring Charlton Heston, who really chewed up the scenery. Come to think of it, all the original Planet of the Apes movies with Chuck were pretty silly also.

I feel like we've had this thread before, but my answer to this question will always be "Showgirls"! It's sooooooo bad...especially when you consider that Elizabeth Berkeley actually STUDIED for her role. How can I not nominate a movie with dialogue like this:

Cristal Connors: I've had dog food.
Nomi Malone: You have?
Cristal Connors: Mmm-hmmm. Long time ago. Doggy Chow. I used to love Doggy Chow.
Nomi Malone: I used to love Doggy Chow, too!

(quoted from IMDB)

Center Stage is cheesy, too, but what do you expect of real dancers who are trying to act? The dancing in that movie is really good. Especially when you compare it to Save the Last Dance, with Julia Stiles trying to pass herself off as a ballerina.

SN: It annoyed me when SPT asks JS "Do you want Juliard?" and she's all tearful and they have a moment. She had told him she blew her audition to a dance school--she never told him it was Juliard. #scriptfail
