Deliciously BAD Movies
There have been several recent posts on bad movies. How about the ones that are so terrible (unintentionally) that they make great late afternoon watching on the couch with a glass of Trader Joe's Two-Buck Chuck and leftover pizza?
Here are three of my favorites: 1. The Lonely Lady (Pia Zodora at her worst...love how they could not afford enough extras for the Oscar scene) 2. Show Girls (I can never see and ad for Versace now and not laugh):D 3. Only the Damned Cry (Joan Crawford plays a woman who is clearly 20 years younger than she, and proceeds to chew up the scenary) 4. Johnny Guitar (another Joan Crawford favorite...not sure if this is bad or just plain weird) |
Delta Delta Die.
The acting is SO terrible that it's funny. I actually ended up buying 2 copies of the film lol |
Sleepaway Camp. It's a cult classic and really campy (no pun intended). One of my favorite camp movies of all time.

We call these Awesomely Bad Movies - and I put all of the Twilight ones in there, as well as this one 80's Made for TV movie starring Fairuza Balk, Tim Curry and Charlotte Rae called The Worst Witch. The graphics are AMAZING cheesy. I love it.
Honorable mention: Austin Powers...but I have to be in the right mood for those. |
Starship Troopers.
I LOVE this movie and the stupidity of it! |
Anything Twilight (including Breaking Dawn, which I saw last night and my boyfriend would put in worst-movie-ever thread)
Legally Blonde Grease 1 (and dare I say it, 2) Dirty Dancing Anything 80's with a great song at the and and a random dance scene |
Better Off Dead

I'll throw "Battlefield Earth" onto the pile. Truly one of the most expensive B movies ever made.
|
Mommie Dearest. When Paramount realized what a stinkbomb they had on their hands, they gave up trying to market it as a serious film and introduced the tagline "Meet the Biggest Mother of Them All!"

I'll throw Troll 2, Polyester (anything by John Waters fits here), and BIRDEMIC into the ring as delightfully horrid. |

Ever see any of his pre-Polyester films? |
