I'm loving the color combination of navy & pink, but I can't find any cute bedrooms with the scheme. :/

Here you go!

Clearly I'm kidding...

That seems to be an easy color scheme to find for weddings, but not so much bedrooms...

I didn't scroll down far enough to see the "Clearly I'm kidding..." part at first and vomited in my mouth!

My current bedroom is kind of navy and pink. The bedspread and curtains (matching) are mostly navy with a pink floral (subtle) design. My roman shade is a mauvy/pinky color. That's all that is really navy/pink in the room but I think that's enough. The room has a lighter blue carpet. The walls are tan now. I'm moving to more of a maroon/gold color scheme. I'm thinking something like this, but less busy.http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/Enla...30111106CZ.JPG

I eventually want to put hardwood in my room too, but have to wait until the dog is no longer with us.

Maybe you could break the patterns up by interspersing plain brown, red, and/or gold pillows and sheets. That could make the effect less busy overall.

Gee-thanks for this thread, now I want to re-do my bedroom! Just don't start one about living rooms.

Love this thread. I have ideas to post later but had to comment on the maroon/gold thing. Personally I am so over this combination because my mom uses it everywhere in our house, but it really does look very mature, homey and cozy

I'm realizing I'm liking neutrals white/beige for the down comforter/duvet.
