So I'm here. It's a nice lil town. I don't know how it's the 7th largest "city" in Kentucky! lol but it's sufficing. I've gone into Lexington once to shop and am trying to hunt down some Lexington Phi Mus via emails. I hope to go to Louisville this weekend for a party one of my favorite Miami DJs will be up here for. Other than that I haven't done too much.

I went to the LEX and I about near died laughing at the size. I looked at my friend and said "What is the security?" ""Are you a terrorist?! Yes or no!?"" Lol! It's a very nice airport though, but I wish flights were cheaper so I could go home and visit more often.

I want to tour some of the KY Phi Mu houses, but am waiting until a sister comes up to visit me.

Any big events y'all know of that's going on in June/July? I'm out of here early August, back to home. I'm going to try to make it to KI in Cincy.

Starting next week, there will be free concerts in Irvine-Mcdowell Park. There is a Fourth of July throw down out at Lake Reba. Lexington will have a big 4th throw down. You will be out of here by August, so you will miss Pops at the Park.

Flights are not cheap out of LEX. I don't know why....

Churchill Downs (Louisville) has Friday races and then concerts or DJs/parties at night. it's called Downs After Dark or something. there are some pretty big Saturday races. i think the $100,000 Debutante is in June. there are some food festivals in Louisville during the summer. Greek food, Soul Food, etc.

there may be a Beer Cheese festival in Winchester this coming weekend. but even if it doesn't rain, it'll probably be damn near 95 degrees. i'd rather get a cooler and float/canoe and camp.
