Meatloaf -- Paradise by the Dashboard Light
So now I'm praying for the end of time
To hurry up and arrive,
'Cause if I gotta spend another minute with you
I don't think that I can really survive.
I'll never break my promise or forget my vow,
But God only knows what I can do right now.
I'm praying for the end of time,
It's all that I can do . . .
Praying for the end of time, so I can end my time with you!

My Jamestown Cousin stands correct again!
Must post one of the first true long rock and roll songs (known by disc jockeys everywhere as "bathroom songs"): Hey Jude. It's very short in comparison.
Before I got married, I had a message on my machine that everyone said that Nights In White Satin should have been used for the background music. I'd have complete strangers call, just to hear it! I just called to see if you could still get the message, but two months of political calls have it running berserk!

"Like a rolling stone" by Bob Dylan is 6 minutes long. When it first came out, that was unheard of.
