There's nothing satirical there. "Fuckery" maybe, satire no.

Actually, it's the same form of satire as Colbert, for example...exaggeration. Like I said, some contributors probably are dead serious, which is entertaining in its own right (though in a sad way), but much of it is straight up silly, on purpose.
If you were to spend time on the UA campus, for instance, you'd get it.

I can agree on to each his own. Though for the record, I can find Tucker Max hilarious. This, not at all.
But as I suggested above -- whenever I hear the word "fratty" or hear "frat" used as a verb or adjective, I suspend any expectation that intelligence will follow.

It's not supposed to be intelligent, just funny.

And in my opinion (to each his own), it fails.
It's a Frat Fail.

*Shrug*. It's spot on for the type of people it's talking about, hence the funny factor. But then again I'm right down the road from SEC greek.
ETA: TFM would say frosted tips=fail. (I have a vendetta against frosted tips).

Which just makes it very targeted humor. Stating that people would get it if they had a "sense of humor for satire" isn't the same thing.
Honestly I still probably wouldn't 'get' it (it's not that hard to 'get', it's hard to find humorous) as I wouldn't hang around with 'that crowd' anyway.
And no, it's not in Colbert's league.

It's just really not all that serious or deep. Exaggeration is an actual method of satire. Once again, I'm sure some of these people are deadly serious, but most are not and it's a way to make fun in an entertaining manner.
to "that crowd". Generally speaking I don't either, as I'm sure I wouldn't reach up to anyone who is serious's standards. But I still think it's funny.
It's ok for people to find amusement here.

Drolefille doesn't, so no one can...obviously.

You are obtuse today.
My comment was not about whether it's satire or not, it was about whether it's funny to everyone or only to a particular group of people from a particular area of the country who attended particular schools.
So yes, "that crowd." I have no experience with Tucker Max so I went to his website and read the Sushi story and found it to be entirely not funny. So yes, that crowd. The ones who think "sorostitute" is funny. Or satirical.
Of course, I'm saying that it's not OK for you to find this funny. That is obviously what I said this whole time. People should only laugh at what I find funny. You're awfully defensive in your obtuseness.

If you have to chronicle your frat moves as such, then you are probably trying too hard and aren't a legitimate fratty at all.

Don't be embarrassed about what you like. You don't need to justify it to me.
I'm sure cargo shorts are very funny among white upper-middle class greek college students at public southern universities.
