Ahh! Forgot about my thread! SO sorry! In any case, I have my stories saved in a document because I would write these RIGHT when I got home, so here we are:
Video Days - I was kind of disappointed with my schedule. I didn't understand…I had great conversations with many girls but I got dropped by all three of my top choices. Of course, there was nothing I could do but move on. I really had some other great houses on my schedule as well so I wasn't going to give up on them. My schedule had 3/6 houses on it.
Cribs - Wow, visiting Cribs today was a whole new experience for me. Watching their video and seeing all of the fun, silly poses and a great sisterhood really started to make me feel connected to the house. When I was given a tour, I started to really like the house and even the dormer, which I was skeptical about at first. The girl who gave me my tour ended up chatting with me inside her room for so long that the President had to come in and tell us to "please quickly take a look in each room and move on". We really laughed about it, and I liked how she was so down to earth and honest with me.
Teen Mom (Roommate's Sorority) - I still really liked this house. The girls in it are so sweet and friendly and honestly, this is the only house that I feel didn't ask "typical" questions (How's recruitment? etc) at first. The video was great and really funny. I felt if I were in this house, I would get along with the girls great…I really felt at home and comfortable here and I didn't TRY when talking to these girls, it all came naturally. This is another house with dormers, but they really talked it up and relayed the benefits and made the dormers look pretty and less intimidating. I also really liked how we could paint the walls here -- one of the only sororities on campus that does that. Funnily enough, coming back from our tours I was randomly paired with one of my best friends and it was actually a relief to just sit there and talk with her.
Jersey Shore - I'm still totally in love with the house. It's gorgeous. Watching the video, I could actually tell the girl rushing me was very nervous so it kind of made me nervous as well. The conversation flowed pretty well, but was pretty standard and not anything that stood out to me…but then the girl that I clicked with the other day came to say hello to me! I was really excited to see her. My rusher kind of abruptly left me there, though…haha, maybe she thought she was getting bumped? In any case, this girl just went, "Oh? Well I get to talk to you now so, THAT'S awesome!" We started talking about EVERYTHING, seriously. We were so loud just laughing and talking and cutting each other off…at one point we even sang a line of a song together. I loved this house and I really felt so connected to it already.
