I loved being on Pi Chi (name for Panhellenic Council officer at my institution, haha). We had each chapter make trinkets and clipboards for our Rho Gammas then everyone rotated them around throughout the week. I think it helped throw everyone off.

Way to go, MollyM! You've finished the first round. It may get more difficult to keep an open mind as the week goes on, but resist the pressure to make snap judgments. All of our chapters at LSU are special and great in their own ways, so I hope that all ends well!

mollym, sounds like you're having a great time. My daughter went through Recruitment at LSU last fall, so I know how stressful this week can be. Sounds like you have a good attitude, and that will serve you well as the week progresses.

My daughter went through with no preconceived notions about any particular sororities. She was not a legacy, so it was all totally up in the air. She LOVES the sorority she ended up with, so things really do happen for a reason. I must say, she's enjoying being on this side of Recruitment a lot better than being a PNM.

Best of luck to you this week.

OK so I got invited back to Silver, Pink and Yellow. I'm really excited about Silver and Pink, and I'm going to give Yellow another chance, apparently they liked me! haha My favorite philanthropy is Silvers! Pink wasn't my favorite, my roommate and I kind of want to switch because she got Green and loved Pink. But we actually both got invited back to Silver and Yellow.
I'm more nervous now because I only have three and I could lose them this round! Is three a good number for LSU? AH sooooo stressful! At least I have until 6 for my first party. The other two are tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the support guys and wish me luck tonight!

Three is better than zero. Remember there are some girls who didn't even make it to this point.

Also, no matter how many invites you get (full schedule or 3 or whatever), you can only get one bid in the end!

Three invites also doesn't always = none tomorrow.

Good luck to you with the rest of recruitment!

I've been hearing great things about Yellow's Philanthropy party, and I'm looking forward to both my parties tomorrow. Silver was AMAZING, I talked with three different girls and got along great with them all. Their video made me laugh and tear up a bit. The girl that I was talking to and I were actually whispering throughout it about all of the different events and people in the pictures. I hope tomorrow goes just as well. =)

Thanks to all of you that are being so nice!
