You think so? I think she's too involved or it comes across that way. I couldn't have a friend who needed me to educate him or her on such things and be so involved in something like this. But,this might be about people who like to be needed for something.

The OP said her friend asked for her help/advice. I don't see what's wrong with my suggestion.
