The ADPi's here present themselves pretty bad sometimes. When I went through rush that is what I thought I wanted to be but then I saw that they were very stereotypical and I didn't want that. Blonde, beautiful and skinny. I was afraid my mascara might run. At pageants they act like they are in Miss America, when they are supposed to be fun and not serious. They take themselves way too seriously. I like a few of their new members, but they are the ones that aren't happy with their chapter and want to change it. I know some from another school and I love them. They are sweet and fun. They don't think they are better than anyone else and encourage other groups and support other greek organizations instead of putting them down. I wish I could say the same for here.

ADPis at ECU are a strong chapter. They seem to always get the members they want and that pleases them. Every chapter had a hard time during last year's recruitment except Chi O, so ADPi is not recruitmetnt proof, but they are still good. I don't think they do much outside of their chapter, they focus more internally. The chapter gets a bad rap from a few too many scandal rumors, but contrary to what sunnyecu said, they are strong and even respected because they are consistent and have held up through the years, since 1960.

There WAS an ADP chapter at school when I was there and they called them ADPigs. They were one of two big National Soroitys on campus. They are gone but I know that two of My Broters married an ADP. I had a lot of respect for them but they were not the ones who had the prettiest, the oldest in alum ties as did some of the other Soros.

I Never understood why they did not make it but as we all know, the Greek World is a close click, in or out!
We are all Greeks and should stand together as it seems as if more and more are against us. If not for us, look at what schools would be!!!!!!

Any ADPi alums out there? I'm interested in how active you/the alum group in your area is..we don't have any active chapters in the state I live in, but the alum chapter is rather large, and always looking for new ideas to bring Pi's back together!
