We can.
I have to say though, before it goes that way totally, that as an Occupational Therapist and as a mom, I really liked the Leap Frog toys and the V-tech toys. They truly were educational for the kids.

Instead of getting a barbie dream house, I had to go to a friends house to play with hers! She even had the Michael Jackson doll--dang--I WANTED that sucker for Christmas that year! Oh well.
Personally I loved playing with my Kim doll--still have her too! Hair is a bit shorter and I'd have to find her pom poms, but she's still there!

Years later, of course, I realize that my big head brother was lucky. One Christmas he had a Millineium (?) Falcon. He had ALL of the Star Wars action figures (lucky chump), but when he WASN'T around---sis acted a playing fool with Princess Leia.
