It seems to me that the girlfriend might want to find a new boyfriend

I wouldn't want to have to put up with someone like you

***Calling all Non-AKAs****

Dang, would ya'll please get off our TIP. Ya'll are so busy answering our threads, the sorors can't get a thread all to themselves anywhere edgewise...even when the topic is AKA (of all things). Why is it that every thread that asks a question about membership is answered by every non-AKA on the board? Why don't ya'll go to ya'll own boards and answer membership questions. Oh wait, you guys don't get the numbers of questions that we do. Stop hating. LOL.

Get.off.our.tip.

Ok, I'm finished talking stuff. LOL. (Ignore me)

RealTalk,
I understand your curiousity. I had a man when I became an AKA so I can understand somewhat. I guess that I would say to you that I can assure you that IF she is selected (emphasis: IF), she will be fine. Your relationship will be fine. You said that you're been together for sometime so...everything will be fine. Don't worry. I appreciate that you are taking enough interest in her life to want to know how to prepare yourself. We can't really go into anymore detail but just don't worry.

She has chosen well. Be happy for her and support her in her endeavor, as you would as she is trying to accomplish any other goal. Is she excited about her newfound interest? Be excited with her.

SC

I have good friends that are in Fraternities and needless to say I've heard some things about these organizations and their antics.

So as the boyfriend, what should I expect from this situation? What did your boyfriends have to put up with when you were on line? Of course this is hypothetically speaking in my case because nothing is set. I'm just trying to get a better understanding about this.

Wow
You can put the claws away...Sorry, I know I wasn't trying to step on any toes, and I'm pretty sure the others who responded weren't, either.

Well if she's an undergrad and IF she gets selected then expect her to be busy. Especially IF she gets into a small chapter. Events were always a must attend unless there was a conflict with class...that's the only exception...not you. The time commitment is very real and of course, AKA is a lifetime commitment.

You do the math.

If you're not greek, you will not understand and eventually she will leave you for a kappa. lol

I didn't know a message board question couldn't be answered on well... umm... a message board. Isn't that the purpose of a message board?

IT'S YOUR SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

No one here is OBLIGATED to answer you, no matter how hard you cross your arms and stomp your feet for an answer.

Senusret, I'm having a greater issue with an extremely inflated sense of grandeur by one person. Was it really that serious? Really?

It was a joke. If it stings, maybe she touched a sore point?

I mean the "dude" did ask the question of AKAs in our forum, and while there were vaild points made, that is the bottom line. I have been noticing a lot of non-AKAs posting in threads like this recently. It has been said before....We got this. Thanks for your concern though.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Stings? Not for me. I'm proud that our intakes don't resemble an obvious fundraiser.

However, this is a public message board. The OP didn't say, "I want AKAs to answer only". Sure, it's posted on your thread on this public message board, but it's still a ... wait for it... public message board where anyone can answer. People comment all over everyone else's boards including SGRho's.

Since this question was not directed explicitly at the AKAs only, we can comment. If you don't like it..., get your own AKA board somewhere in cyberspace.

Which is so easy, even a brigade of lawyers could manage it.

Then I wasn't talking to you, I guess. I took it as a joke and laughed. Miss me with all the rest.
