Thank you all for your advice, I really do appreciate it. I got rid of my initial post, as I understand what was wrong with it, because I didn't mean anything negatively, I'm just extremely nervous.
I know whatever damage has been done is done, and hopefully a sorority can look past this blunder and accept me for me, because if not, it clearly wasn't meant to be anyway.

And hopefully you asked Old Row if she would please delete her post that quotes you, and she will oblige. I don't think any damage has been done, but better safe than sorry!

We wish you all the best, and read, read, read the Recruitment advice threads. There's lots of good advice on here. Work on getting recs and practice some general conversation skills. (Threads exist here on how to do both!)
Remember this: no matter how it may appear to you, everyone in recruitment is nervous, both the PNMs AND the members.

I don't think any damage was done either, but as FSU Zeta said, better safe than sorry! Besides, you were just a nervous PNM -- it's not like you were out here trashing sororities. You clearly want to be part of one and wanted advice on calming your nerves and presenting yourself in the best light.
One of the most nervous PNMs I ever saw in my life went on to become her chapter's president!
Best wishes during recruitment! Please update us!
