I am so mad at compaq right now for making me miss all of these rush threads by my computer breaking down! argggh...MUST CATCH UP ON BLAZERCHEER RUSH THREAD now!! I want to know where she ends up too!!

BTW-anyone with computer problems needs to go to Chit Chat on Windows XP. There is a virus that it's vulnerable to.

I just now got in from work...BlazerCheer will be in prefs until 7:45 and of course, the sorority members will be putting together their bid lists afterwards. Well actually, I've heard that a lot of sororities have them ready before prefs; that's hard to imagine.

We want 11 AM to be here now! We want it all to be over with (okay, until the next 3 daughters rush in 2004, 2005, and 2006)...this has been nervewracking since she's a sophomore.

I'll be in class when the bids come out but hopefully she or her sister will have the decency to call and leave a message! But here's the thing that makes me crazy--my email at school is down. I swear that I'll let y'all know the minute I hear something and can get to a computer!

Some of the sororities here do bid lists before Pref night, and of course make adjustments after Pref as needed. It helps eliminate some of the stress and lets the sisters just concentrate on making Pref as beautiful and meaningful as possible, since they aren't worrying about how they'll have to spend hours in MS afterwards. That way, by the time you get to the Pref parties, almost all of the work is done and you can just relax with the girls you hope to have as sisters.

I think I am speaking for the ga-zillions of other GCers who are following this thread when I say: "Why can't we know the other sorority she's preffing now?" (pouty face)

MMM hmm, well, I see it when I believe it! That last pref party post nearly put me over the edge. In the time it took between your original post and your final one about the sororities I was actually able to petition a local college to bring greeks to campus, colonize a chapter of Delta Gamma, initiate a class of 100 GORGEOUS girls and host a successful Anchor Splash (we raised over $3,000!)....

What scares me the most is the fact that we have to go thru this for the next few yrs for the other three daughters.......

See she intentionally set out to form her own sorority with 5 girls!

AHHH I wanna know now whats going on hehe I cant wait for it to be tomorrow I hope you post it like right after 11 since I have to be at work at 12

and I know I dont want to wait until 6 to find out lol. oh well anyways Best of Luck and I'm sure she is having a blast at pref tonite

LOL! I have NINE daughters! One's an AOII (college senior), then there are the twins, then come the next 6. Don't worry, the youngest 3 girls are 9, 8, and 7 so you won't have to listen to our rushes for the next 6 straight years! Only the next 3!

I haven't heard from BlazerCheer yet--parties ended at 7:45 and then they had to be transported back to campus from the parties and I expect they're signing bid cards now. I'll try to get back on tonight if she can call back.

Zeta was founded by 9 and I'm sure others may have been as well...your fam could have their own sorority lol

Please tell me that at least ONE of those lovely daughters will go to a school with Pi Beta Phi and make her mama happy!!

As for this latest rush, I still think that smart money is on cardinal and straw !!!!

How many kids do you have? How many are adopted? That sounds like a BIG family!
