I'm not really feeling the Vivian Green song that's on radio now. If that's a sample of her new album, I'll have to wait for another single to come out.
Is anyone hip to Van Hunt? I might have said something about him before, his album is cool, not great, but cool enough to listen to. KWIM?

I have Van Hunt's CD. It's different. It's an alternative to what we hear on the radio.

AKA2'D, i gotta thank ya! i got that raheem devaughn cd and i LUV it!!! i think i like it more than anthony hamilton's new one. speaking of ant, i feel like he deviated from his wining formula with this one. it is less soulful and more mainstream r&b.

Is this the CD they were saying was one of his old CDs that never got released before he got with SoSo Def?
I heard a review of Vivian Green's new CD and they say it doesn't have that jazzy feel to it like the last one did. I'm going to get it if it's on sale ($9.99) if not, I won't waste my money. She's become so generic.

I finally listened to it Saturday night. It's nice, but it's not Emotional Rollercoaster. Plus she pissed me off with her family and friends leaving voice mail messages congratulating her on her album, her baby, losing her baby weight, and growing out her hair. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

It does sound more mainstream and I need that deep soul wrenching sound from the first CD. I do like it but it's not like the first one. The cellophane wrapper proclaimed this as "his lost CD."
I'll have to check out this Raheem guy.
