I knew Damon was coming back strong! I hope they don't disappoint me. I wanna know what was wrong with Malik...remember he was sick? And Bird slept with him...was it contagious? I need to know.

Also, I need the next episode to be set on Halloween, so Ahmad can wear a mask...otherwise, no more kissing scenes or closeups please.

Exactly. What I hate is that they think we be smokin' that stuff when we watch Soul Food. I recall that they were playing Bird up like she was sick and this was after the Malik-ness. Last week, I think, she was going to the restroom and like hloding her stomach and just lookin' ill. I recall someone wondering then if she was preggers. I think they tape episodes and then like lay off of a "possible" theme..like Bird being pregnant by old boy. Why she gotta be holdin' her stomach? I use the bathroom everyday and even when it's "like that" you ain't gotsta be lookin' sick and sweaty and broke down.

Is it me or do they have Max looking a complete mess? C'mon Edmond's twins...I know she is supposed to be matronly and all but dang! Did you see the black blazer she had on with that black dress with the flower patterns? I was hot! Also, uhm...Max's skin don't look too smooth neither. Their mak-up on the show is awful.

I can't believe two more eps. I don't think they can wrap this stuff up the way I need it to be wrapped. Where is Brooke? Did Kenny's brother die? What happened to the fourth sister? Why don't nobody's babies talk...AT ALL? What they should NOT have done was try to introduce new stuff towards the end because now it's just unfinished business. Kenny's brother...hell Kenny didn't need to have a brother...shoot. Then I wouldn't be wondering. They could have done the AIDS theme some other way.

Where is Lem's mama to slap the itsh outta Bird?

SHOWTIME CELEBRATES SOUL FOOD’S FAREWELL BY REBROADCASTING ENTIRE SERIES BEGINNING JUNE 2

New York, New York…May 10, 2004…The Showtime hit series SOUL FOOD, which has been a favorite with critics and fans alike for five seasons, airs its final episode on Wednesday, May 26 at 10:00 PM (ET/PT). The award-winning show has the distinction of being the longest-running African-American drama on television and one of Showtime's most popular series.

To celebrate its groundbreaking success for the network, all five seasons of the award-winning series will be rebroadcast beginning June 2, the week immediately following the season finale. Two episodes will air back-to-back each Wednesday at 9:00 PM (ET/PT) and 10:00 PM (ET/PT), providing an unprecedented viewing opportunity for avid fans and new ones. This special scheduling will air for 37 consecutive weeks, concluding on Wednesday, February 9, 2005.

The SOUL FOOD schedule breaks down as follows:
Season 1 (20 episodes) June 2-August 4
Season 2 (20 episodes) August 11-October 13
Season 3 (10 episodes) October 20-November 17
Season 4 (10 episodes) November 24-December 22
Season 5 (14 episodes) December 29-February 9, 2005

Viewers will get the chance to again experience the trials and tribulations of the Joseph family. They can see their favorite cast members Rockmond Dunbar, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Aaron Meeks, Nicole Ari Parker, Malinda Williams, Vanessa Williams and Boris Kodjoe in roles that have made them household names.

A dramatic series based on the 1997 hit film of the same name, SOUL FOOD premiered on Showtime in June 2000. OK!!!!! What if it was VITAL that Lem needed that oxygen? They don't leave people all unattended like that anyway in ICU. The nurse would have trounced her had she seen that oxygen supply off. They don't play.

Nyla would have gotten a beat down in the hospital parking lot. Point blank. She was sobbing a little too hard in the hospital when they first got in. How you gonna call your ex-boo's wife's sister? Bird had a cell phone! She neds to pump her brakes.

Now Bird wants a baby! I am glad that she wasn't pregnant because it would have left the story wide open about whether or not it was for Malik.... And she knows that she was dead wrong for grabbing that man's crotch in front of company!

Kenny's head got "swole" when he got some cash. I'm ready for Max to go 'head on somewhere because she is getting on my nerves. Looks like next week they hit a big jackpot. The Chadways are movin' on up!

Terri and Damon.... Hot Sex on a Platter!! That DEFINITELY was TOO HOT FOR TV!! Imagine my surprise when he called the little boy Mandel on the beach! I was just thinking it was some random kid giving him a seashell. That was a good twist. I like unexpected things like that. I wish that Terri accepts Damon's proposal. He was an azz when it ended, but they were good together. Now that he is facing and admitting that he has a problem, they can stare their issues in the face and move on. Just my luck she will say no and everyone else will have the "happily ever after" while we have to wonder if Terri finally gets what she's looking for in the ATL. If the writers really love the fans, they'll make us happy and put Terri and Damon back together.

Damon & Terri: The love scene was just what I needed to get through a blah rainy day-why couldn't they bring him back sooner??

Bird & Lem: Now in the movie the sisters would have had Nyla in the parking lot (remember the scene in the bathroom at the wedding) ....they've calmed down in the series...yes its 5 years later but Nyla earned that beat down...resolve your issues and move on.

Maxine and Kenny-why oh why must Kenny revert to his neanderthal thinking?? "I man I spend the money??" Everytime he takes one step forward he takes two back (the bike was HOT but comeon man priorities)....& Max...WHO WEARS A FULL LENGTH FUR COAT IN MAY???? Just bama...the diamonds were enough...put the rest in an account for the kids that you claim to be so worried about....or pay for a local tutor so you can brang you baby back home!

So sad...next week is the end of a fabulous run...I'll pass the tissues and bring some martini's (hey this deserves a blowout goodbye just like Sex in the City)!

I wanted Byrd to slap Nyla so bad, I was yelling at the t.v.! Heffa don't come around here no more being "concerned" about my husband!

The makeup department on Soul Food are THE WORST! Ahmad's face looks a hot mess EVERYTIME they do a close up! I feel so sorry for the little girl playing his girlfriend. I know the makeup department can cover up his bad skin better than they're doing.
