Alrighty... Well my name is Rebecca. I just transfered to Central Michigan University. I was an AGD at my last school, and have been thinking about maybe looking into joining this chapter. I was a little unhappy at my last school, but that came along with lots of stress with school, etc. I'm a little gunshy about being in a house again.... but when I read all the posts on GC, I think maybe my bad experiences were isolated and that every house is not like my last one.... Anway.. I guess thanks for the encouragement from all your care for each other.

I pledged AGD in the Winter of 1996/97...I rushed because of one of my hall mates - she was an AGD legacy so she really wanted to meet the girls at the house and I went along just to see what a sorority was like. I ended up rushing a few sororities but I felt the most comfortable with the Alpha Gams so I accepted my bid.

Favorite memory? Too many to tell!

*For all of you Alpha Beta girls - I lived in Ann Arbor the past few years and was one of the alum who helped with the recolonization of your chapter! My Pearl Sister was Erin Webster...I'm so glad to hear that your chapter is doing well.

Was? You still are an Alpha Gam, no matter where you attend school or how old you are! Alpha Gam is for life!!!! You'll see that sisters of all ages post here and are enjoying the lifelong benefits of Alpha Gamma Delta! Don't let a bad collegiate experience make you think that you "were" an Alpha Gam! My best ones have been since I graduated from college years ago!
