Why I Joined APO: I was looking for an organization to join that did a lot of community service and one of my friends who had just pledged told me about APO and I joined the next semester.
Anything Else: Will be attending Region IV regionals this month! Oh and my chapter will be celebrating being rechartered for 12 years on the 6th!

Why I joined APO: The chapter at my school started as a result of a program called Alternative Spring Break Detroit, which is a residential week-long service program for the Detroit area for students of Wayne State. Our re-chartering petitioning group was mostly from ASBD. I met a few Brothers when I participated who told me that if I loved doing service during the program, I would LOVE to have the opportunity to do it every day. I pledged and the rest is history!
Anything else: I feel like if we all help each other, the world would be a better place, and with that said, my career aspiration is to be a local politician (Hilarity ensues)

Why I joined APO: I started my Masters program at 20, so there weren't a lot of people my age in my program. I found out there were other graduate students in APO, and also that a good friend of mine was in APO in New York, so both factors motivated me to join! I also love doing community service and I've loved helping my chapter prepare to re-charter.
Anything else: I attended APO Serve just last week and I loved it!!

Not much APO specific activity here right now, but sometimes all it takes is the right topic.

Why I Joined APO: I liked cats. XD In all seriousness, I loved a recruitment week service event at a local cat shelter and thought it'd be great to continue helping out there in college. And then I fell in love with leadership, friendship, and service over the course of the pledge process.
