ANDERSON, Ind. -- Authorities Wednesday were holding two teens accused of sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl with kitchen utensils in her Anderson home.

Corey A. Craig, 19, and a 15-year-old boy are suspected of assaulting the girl while they were baby-sitting her, police said. The younger teen's name was not released.

The girl's mother on Monday took her to St. John's Medical Center, where she was treated for severe vaginal injuries, police said.

"The girl required emergency surgery to repair the injuries that had occurred," Anderson police Detective Terry Sollars told RTV6's Jennifer Carmack.

Someone at the hospital called authorities because doctors suspected sexual assault, Carmack reported.

Police said Craig and the other teen threatened to hurt the girl if she told anyone about the alleged assault.

"It's one of the most disturbing cases I've seen in 22 years," Sollars said.

Craig faces felony charges of child molestation, intimidation and criminal confinement. The other teen's case was being handled in the juvenile court system.

The girl and her 4-year-old sister were removed from their home pending the outcome of the investigation, Carmack reported.

The suspects are not related to the girl, police said.

No comment on the B-more incident.

What parent in their right mind lets BOYS babysit a little GIRL??? Never. That should never happen. For this exact reason right here.

*smh* I can only think of choice curse words to express what I'm thinking right now.

What is the heck is in the water in Ind.? That's why I don't drink it. First , little 5 year olds taking knives and guns to school and then teens sexually assaulting a child and had the nerves to threaten her....what was she suppose to do? Not cry and just go to school and act normal with her insides darn near falling out? .......My comments I really want to post would be X-rated so I will just agree with previous post.

***sidebar*** Anderson is known for male wierdo's like that. I know a female who dates a man from Anderson and he was in prison for child neglect....he put a baby in scolding hot bath water and this SOSAS has 2 little girls herself......I want to choke some sense in to her ya'll but sometimes the main vein of man can knock the common sense out of a women instead of knocking the boots off.

Angry Babypeople get killed

I think I have fertility issues and won't have a chance to be a mom. Reading this stuff just pisses me off.

CANADICE, New York (AP) -- Stacy DeBeer told relatives she was pregnant. But when a baby failed to materialize months later, a suspicious relative snooping around DeBeer's basement found a newborn's body -- entombed in concrete.

DeBeer, 30, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of killing two of her infants -- in June 1998 and May 2003 -- and hiding them in pails filled with concrete that investigators had to break apart with hammers.

Her 32-year-old husband, Brian DeBeer, was charged with hindering prosecution by helping hide the first infant, a girl, in a garden shed.

The couple, who have children ages 8 and 6, were arrested in January after their unidentified relative discovered the body of the baby born in 2003 at their home in Farmington in rural northwestern New York, said an investigator who spoke on condition of anonymity.

"It's creepy. I guess you just don't know people nowadays," said Wayne Ciluffo, 50, an unemployed truck driver who lived next door to the DeBeers in Canadice in the late 1990s.

Grand jury indictments accused DeBeer of delivering a girl without medical help in June 1998 and killing her by stuffing paper in her mouth, wrapping her in cloth and placing her in a plastic bag.

Police suspect she kept the dead infant for nearly five years before disposing of it at her house in Canadice, where the couple lived until a fire burned down their house in June and they moved to Farmington.

Last May 11, a few weeks before the fire, she gave birth again, killed the child and took the body with her when she moved to Farmington, police say. The sex of that child was not revealed.

DeBeer gave birth to a fifth child in 2001 and gave her up for adoption, police said. Asked if she might have disposed of any other newborns, prosecutor R. Michael Tantillo said, "We can't be blind to that possibility."

The couple pleaded innocent at separate arraignments. DeBeer was ordered held without bail. Bail for her husband, a home builder, was set at $75,000 cash.

If convicted, she could be sentenced to up to 25 years to life in prison.

"Whether we can contest (the charges) at all, I'm not going to comment at this point," said her attorney, Robert Zimmerman.

Debbie Manrique, 41, who used to live next to the DeBeers in Canadice, said some of her neighbors wondered whether DeBeer suffered from postpartum depression.

"To be carting the dead infants around does not show someone is emotionally balanced. You can almost try to reason that there was insanity involved," she said.

"But you give a burial place to your gerbil or your goldfish when they die," she added. "It's disgusting to me they would bury their babies in cement and leave them."

I was speechless when I saw the B-more story on the news this morning. I just sat down and shook my head.

The most dangerous person in the world to a little girl (and also little boys) is a non biologically related male. The next most dangerous is any other male. It is sad but true. And unfortunately the women are crazy, too. Look at some of the other stories in this thread. I mean killing your infants and entombing them in conrete???? What that dayum???

She could have just left the baby on the ER steps and dipped. people still do that (or they do at my hospital). I think even some states have laws that allow women to do this without facing any legal reprocussions too.

But to PURPOSELY kill your baby........... *SMH*

Beaten Girl Emerges From Coma, Talking With Police

POSTED: 12:07 pm EST March 11, 2004
UPDATED: 2:54 pm EST March 11, 2004

BALTIMORE -- A girl left in a coma after being brutally attacked during a party in southwest Baltimore is now conscious.

Police said three women and two girls have been arrested in connection with the attack on Nicole Townes, 12, (pictured, right). Townes was in a coma for several days and had a breathing tube in her throat, but has improved and is talking with detectives.

Praise Him!! Glad that a life was not lost over something so ignorant. I hope her mother and father press charges.

Angry Selfish

SALT LAKE CITY (March 12) - A woman accused of murder because she allegedly avoided a Caesarean section that could have saved her unborn twin has denied the charge, saying she already had scars from earlier C-sections.

Her attorney, meanwhile, said she had a long history of mental illness.

Melissa Ann Rowland, 28, was charged Thursday of showing ''depraved indifference to human life,'' ignoring medical advice to deliver her twins by C-section because she didn't want to be scarred. One nurse told police Rowland said she would rather ''lose one of the babies than be cut like that.'' (WHAT A BINCH)

Rowland told Salt Lake City radio station KSL from jail that ''I already have a pretty nasty scar, it doesn't matter at all now,'' The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Her attorney, Michael Sikora, called a C-section major surgery and told the Tribune ''it would come as no surprise that a woman with major mental illness would fear it.''

The documents allege that Rowland was warned numerous times between Christmas and Jan. 9 that her unborn twins would likely die if she did not get immediate medical treatment, the documents allege. When she delivered them on Jan. 13, the twin girl survived but the boy died.

Shortly afterward, Rowland was jailed on a child endangerment charge involving the surviving twin, who has been adopted by a family Rowland knows.

Rowland told the radio station she has two other children who live with their grandparents in Virginia. Sikora said Rowland moved to Utah with a boyfriend and is either divorced or estranged from her husband. She lives in the Salt Lake City suburb of West Jordan.

A spokesman for the district attorney, Kent Morgan, had said earlier that Rowland was married.

The case could affect abortion rights and open the door to the prosecution of mothers who smoke or don't follow their obstetrician's diet, said Marguerite Driessen, a law professor at Brigham Young University.

''It's very troubling to have somebody come in and say we're going to charge this mother for murder because we don't like the choices she made,'' she said.

The woman sought medical advice in December because she hadn't felt the fetuses move, documents said.

Regina Davis, a nurse at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake, told police that during a visit there, Rowland was recommended two hospitals to go to for immediate care. Rowland allegedly said she would rather have both twins die before she went to either of the suggested hospitals.

On Jan. 2, a doctor at LDS Hospital saw Rowland and recommended she immediately undergo a C-section based on the results of an ultrasound and the fetus' slowing heart rates. Rowland left after signing a document stating that she understood that leaving might result in death or brain injury to one or both twins, the doctor told police.

The same day, a nurse at Salt Lake Regional Hospital saw Rowland, who allegedly told her she had left LDS Hospital because the doctor wanted to cut her ''from breast bone to pubic bone,'' a procedure that would ''ruin her life.''

LDS Hospital can't comment on the case because of medical privacy issues and the pending court case, said spokesman Robert Pexton.

The doctor who performed an autopsy found that the fetus died two days before delivery and would have survived if Rowland had undergone a C-section when urged to do so. It was not immediately clear how far along Rowland was in her pregnancy.

She was charged in Salt Lake County with one first-degree felony count of criminal homicide. Rowland was being held on $250,000 bail at the Salt Lake County jail, and was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.

If convicted, she could be sentenced to between five years and life in prison.

''We are unable to find any reason other than the cosmetic motivations by the mother'' for her decision, Morgan said.

Caesarean sections usually involve delivery through a surgical incision in the abdomen and front wall of the uterus. Dr. Christian Morgan, a family practice doctor who regularly performs C-sections at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center, said he had never seen vertical skin incisions performed at LDS Hospital for a first-time C-section.

''Even when you need to get a baby out in minutes, it can still be done in the bikini incision,'' Christian Morgan said.

Angry Nine dead in Fresno--WTF?

Why is this alleged perpetrator BLACK?

Nine found dead in Fresno home
Bodies of seven children age 8 and younger are discovered after Marcus Wesson, 57, surrenders and is arrested after a 2-hour standoff.
By Cyndee Fontana -- The Fresno Bee
Published 6:30 a.m. PST Saturday, March 13, 2004

At a small home near Roeding Park where authorities found a stack of nine bodies in one room and 10 caskets in another, Fresno police on Friday arrested a man suspected of fathering some of the victims and murdering them all.
Police arrested Marcus Wesson, 57, on suspicion of homicide after a two-hour standoff in an established neighborhood near Olive Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

Authorities relayed a twisted scene of death at the house, with the bodies of young women and small children intertwined with clothing and stacked together in a back bedroom.

The bodies were so entangled that it took hours for police to confirm the number of dead. Police Chief Jerry Dyer said: "There may have been some kind of ritual involved, but we have to make that determination."

In a scene that began shortly after 10 p.m. and was expected to continue into the early morning, authorities began removing the bodies of two women and seven children, including infants. Some bodies were so small that they were carried out in white body bags, cradled in the arms of officials.

The majority of victims were female - one in her 20s, one about 17 and children ranging from 1 to 8. Authorities did not release the identities of the victims or causes of death. They did not know whether they were killed in the house or elsewhere. Police believed Wesson had blood on his shirt when he surrendered.

A man who identified himself only as Mike and who said he was Wesson's brother-in-law said Wesson "thought he was God."

Police acknowledged that they were investigating a possible cult angle.

Several neighbors reported hearing gunshots. One police officer said some of the victims appeared to have been shot. Police responded to a child-custody dispute at the home at 761 W. Hammond Ave. about 2:30 p.m. Two women told officers they had given custody of their children to Wesson and wanted them back. Wesson allegedly refused.

Other women have said they left their children in Wesson's custody, authorities said.

Neighbor Linda Morales, 44, said she heard two to three gunshots, followed by screaming, between 2:30 and 3 p.m. Friday.

"I started shaking because I have two girls at home with me," she said. "I just got a jingling in me. It could have been my girls. It's just too close."

When police arrived, Wesson ran into the house and locked himself inside. Authorities called in the SWAT team and, after about two hours, Wesson walked outside and surrendered.

Distraught at the news, some relatives of the dead collapsed near the house. At least one woman was taken away by ambulance. Dyer said later that four women who gathered outside the house were the mothers of some of the victims and Wesson was the father.

Dozens of people gathered outside the house during the afternoon and into the evening. A young man who identified himself only as a relative of a victim leaned against a brick wall, not far from the police tape blocking the house. Head bowed and crying, he ignored questions and attempted to get into a parked, green Chevrolet Cavalier. Another man had to help him into the car. They did not drive away, but sat in the car.

Another man, standing about 15 feet from the young man, also identified himself only as a family member of the victims. He said: "Nobody is going to be talking about this. Right now, everybody is pretty upset."

He cried as he spoke.

The bodies were found in a roughly 1,000-square-foot, one-story home built in 1966. State property records show the house was sold to Rosa Solorio last September for $100,000. Neighbors said Wesson moved in about six to eight months ago.

Police said they found 10 unused caskets in a front room of the house. A friend of Wesson's children said they had been in the home for a long time; a relative said Wesson intended to use the wood for furniture. Lawyer Frank Muna said he saw the caskets in an antique shop several years ago. They were unique, he said, hand-carved in rich wood and larger than normal. The shop owner told Muna he sold them to Wesson, who had purchased property from Muna a few years ago.

Muna said he always saw several women with Wesson, but the relationships were unclear. He also didn't know what Wesson did for a living, but he said the man had the same school bus at the time he knew him. That school bus was parked alongside the Hammond house Friday evening. Neighbors said they saw and heard Wesson in the bus only after sunset and well past midnight. Sometimes children would hold a flashlight so that he could work; one neighbor said he thought there was a whirlpool spa in the bus.

Neighbor Christina Morales, 22, said she saw three adult women who wore black dresses working on the bus with Wesson. If they walked away, she said, he would pull them back by their shoulders or hair.

Mike, the man who identified himself as Wesson's brother-in-law, said Wesson was a Vietnam veteran originally from San Jose.

Kenny Isaac, 35, who has lived in the neighborhood for 13 years, described the home's residents - including up to six women - as "weird."

"I only saw the older women," he said. "They would drive by, and they would glance down. They did not want to look at you."

One neighbor said the women typically wore black skirts, white or gray blouses and black, high-heeled shoes.

Lupa Montejano, 38, and Laticia Juarez, 24, live on Hammond Avenue. Juarez said: "They were quiet people. You wouldn't expect this to happen."

Barbara Alec, 61, who lives near the house, said she noticed people arriving for what seemed to be a gathering at the house Friday afternoon. She then heard a woman yell from the direction of the house: "It wasn't supposed to happen this way."

She also said residents of the home cooked something with a particularly foul odor two or three times a week: "It smelled real ugly. Everybody complained, but we never thought anything about it."

Alec said she was shaken by the killings: "I'm so scared now."

After 9 p.m., police were beginning a search of the home and also were planning to search the school bus. At 10:30 p.m., coroners began to wheel bodies out on gurneys.

Investigators waited several hours before beginning a close examination of the house and the bus. The delay allowed authorities to get the proper search warrants.

Police closed off about a square quarter-mile around the house during the standoff. Traffic was snarled on Olive Avenue. The area was sealed off until about 6:30 p.m.

After the streets reopened, people started gathering and milling on the street. Yellow police tape circled roughly 200 feet around the house.

The police planned to work through the night, gathering evidence. There were still bodies inside the house as of midnight, and Dyer said it would probably take another three hours before all bodies were removed.

Mayor Alan Autry arrived just before 11:30 p.m., telling reporters: "This is obviously a terrible, horrific tragedy. It appears we have the perpetrator in custody. The only thing we can do now is mourn. We mourn for the kids. We mourn for the police who had to be out here. We mourn for the community."

Dyer said he will appear on the "Today" show at 4:30 a.m., or 7:30 on the East Coast.

"I hesitated whether or not to do that," Dyer said. "I think it's important for the people of America to know that this is an aberration [for Fresno]."

The nine deaths represent the largest mass killing in Fresno since 1993, when seven people were killed in the Carrillo's Club murders in rural Fresno.

Staff writers Donald E. Coleman, Matt Leedy, Jim Davis, Felicia Cousart Matlosz, Louis Galvan and Kerri Ginis contributed to this report.

Woman, 96, Charged With Selling Crack
From Times Wire Reports

March 14, 2004

A 96-year-old woman said she does not know how the crack cocaine that deputies found on her got into her wheelchair.

Julia Roberts of Kings Mountain, NC was charged with possession of crack with intent to sell and deliver, and with possessing a crack pipe, sheriff's officials said. She was freed pending a hearing.

A 96-year-old woman is facing drug charges after police allegedly found crack cocaine in her wheelchair.

Sheriff's Office Captain, Bobby Steen, said the pensioner, her son and two other men traded the drugs for stolen jewellery and guns.

The woman's son, Harold, 61, is charged with possession of stolen goods.

According to court papers, an informant told police she'd hidden crack in her prosthetic leg during a previous search by officers.

I had heard folks talking about this at work the other day but did not know she was 96 years old. . .WTH?!??!!? I mean come on.

This is from The Charlotte Observer. ..

Julia Roberts was charged with possession of crack with intent to sell and deliver, and with possessing a crack pipe, sheriff's officials said. She was freed pending a hearing March 30. I've never seen (the drugs) in my life,'' she told The Charlotte Observer for a Saturday story. ``I don't know how they could get there.'' A search warrant for the arrest said it's the third time Cleveland County deputies have seized crack at the mobile home Roberts shared with her son. Harold Roberts, 61, was charged with possession of stolen goods. Harold Roberts' brother, James Roberts, 58, who lived nearby, was charged with possession of moonshine. A neighbor, Donald Eugene Bridges, 56, was charged with possession of stolen property. Cleveland County Sheriff's Office Capt. Bobby Steen said Roberts and the three men traded crack for stolen property, mostly jewelry and guns. The affidavit said an informant told deputies that Julia Roberts hid crack in her prosthetic leg during a previous search. Roberts said she has kicked her son out of the house.

OK...who's lying??? This whole situation is fubar!! Why didn't they just do it? When it's serious like this, doesn't some sort of medical code of ethics take over?
