I'd hate to not be a Pi Phi but if I had to pick another house it would have been Kappa mainly b/c my mom was one and I always thought sharing that with her would've been really cool.

It's hard to imagine if I had joined anything else but Alpha Chi.
If I *had* to choose another organization:
On Campus- Probably Sigma Kappa. They're a great bunch of girls
Off Campus- I've always liked Pi Beta Phi and Alpha Phi. Both classy groups of women. Everyone I've met who is a member of either one is so nice.

I love being an ADPi, but if I had had to go into another GLO:
On campus: Alpha Phi (All of the college women in my family have been A Phis) or Alpha Omicron Pi (embarassing, but it was seeing their house that made me want to be Greek...I joined through COB)
Off campus: Phi Mu (at least then I could still be a Macon Magnolia!! )

Honestly, I am an ADPi legac. I heard about them all the time from my aunts. Later I talked to my grandma about it too.
I came to Akron and really wanted to be an ADPi, but wanted to see what they were like first. I told noone I was a legacy but ended up loving them soooo much.
I wouldnt have joined anywhere else. I didnt feel a connection like I did with any of the other sororities. There were all very nice and sweet and all but I only really went through rush to meet ADPi and see if I liked them. I probably would never have gone through if there wasnt an ADPi.

I love DZ, but if I had had to join someone else, I would've chosen:
*On My Campus*
Alpha Xi Delta
*Off Campus*
Delta Gamma

Although I LOVE every group here, I'd probably wouldn't have gone greek at all if Sigma didn't exist.

I love being an ADPi!!! If my chapter wasn't here and I had to choose another chapter on campus, I think it would be a tie between Pi Phi and A Phi - both groups have awesome members and are so nice & down to earth

If there was no DZ at my school, I wouldn't have rushed. we have two nationally recognized groups and way too many locals. I don't like most of the local groups, there are a couple local recognized. I might have considered Alpha Gamma which was locally recognized. It was DZ or nothin for me.

I think about this sometimes because there used to be 12 sororities at Adelphi a looooong time ago, back when AU was women only. Only 3 of the 12 are still open today plus SDT that chartered in 92. I wonder if I'd still be a Tri Delt if some of the others were still open today.
If I didn't go Tri Delt I might have gone DG. I had a few friends in DG. I didn't really fit into the other two.
Off campus I like Theta or KD. Or DPhiE because I have a friend in DPhiE.
If I was a guy Sammy is the only choice at Adelphi, but I'd try to get DTD opened. A family friend was a DTD.

I wouldn't have joined a Fraternity if i hadn't have joined Pike.
the other houses i met during rush, which at my school is done in the summer, were ok but they didn't sell their house well enough to land me. One Group during the three times i went out with them only talked about drinking beer and girls, cool things and i enjoy them but it seemed like thats all they were about. Another Group were all about themselves, !st in IMs top five grades, 2nd largest on campus placed in homecoming.... and etc. They never tried to get to know me they just wanted to impress me. Another group were better but they just didn't seem like my kind of guys, and when i got to campus i was very glad i didn't join. Pike rush team did the rushing and talking themselves up and about the social aspect but they also talked about brotherhood and got to know me. One the day i was given a bid card i was told it was on the table and i could sign it then or in a few weeks after i thought it over and came to school. I signed it then cause i knew these were the guys i wanted to join.
If it weren't for my pledge brothers i wouldn't have made it through pledgeship. And its cause of those guys I care about Pike so much.
