I'm trying to be positive and remember that today is a new day, and I can start from here and do well. Plus everyone has setbacks right? And I have been doing the pms/period thing, so I can understand why I binged out as hard as I did. Right now I have almost a whole pizza and I don't know what to do with it. On one hand, I don't want it around because I'll be tempted to eat it. All of it. In a short period of time. But on the other hand, I don't want to waste food and money, so I just don't know what to do. Sigh. This is tough for me, but god, it's been long enough- I need to develop some self control and get in shape, there's just no point to how I am currently! Once I graduate and move back home I want to go to all the clubs and bars and not worry about looking chubby or being the heavy one in my group of friends. So that's the goal I'm kinda working towards I guess. More after weigh in, I'm oh so excited.

Why don't you put the pizza in the freezer. If you want some take out once piece and defrost it. You'll be less likely to keep going back for more if you actually have to spend the time to heat it up.

that's what i do. i wrap each slice individually in tinfoil and when i want i take out one slice. it's a good way of making sure i don't eat too much of it at once.

that's a good idea to wrap up slices. i should do that. but i do understand how difficult it is to just inhale a pizza with no problems when you're pms'ing or just having extreme cravings.

Yay 1.2 pounds lost! But I'm a dork and I lost my points calculator thing...so if anyone wants to help me out, I had a question about two things:
Toasted nuts n cranberry luna bar: calories 170, fat 3g, fiber 2g.
Trader Joes mint meringues: calories 90, fat 1.5, fiber 0.
Thanks in advance!

Nuts - 3 pts
Mints - 2 pts
I actually joined today so I have brand spanking NEW points finder. I have about 5 of them scattered about the house and at work. I'm kind of excited my leader is REALLY bubbly and sweet. Next week is Bring in your big clothes day. You're supposed to bring in items that don't fit you anymore and show off. I don't have any yet but I will the next time she does this.

I didn't go to weight watchers this week (I had more fun things to do), so I don't know if I gained.
I also haven't been to the gym in like 2-3 weeks. I don't know why I bother. I hate going to the gym with a passion. I sign up. go once or twice. I hate it so much. I keep putting it off and off. I only joined because my parents were harrassing me. I play sports, but apparently that's not good enough for them. I lie to them and tell them I'm going. They said they would pay for membership too. Since I haven't been going I didn't ask them for the money, so I paid this month myself. I want to quit. It's such a waste of money.

Down 2.0 this week. Thats good because I went up 0.4 and 0.2 the previous 2 weeks. Yesterday I bought a recumbent bike, so there's no excuses to not workout anymore.

forget your parents. you don't have to be a member of a gym to work out. you can go for a walk or do tapes at your house if that's what you like better. trust me, i feel ya on the whole gym thing. funny thing is, i have a free membership to the YMCA since i work there part time, but i don't use it at all.

ps - i said i wasn't going to weigh myself, but i did end up weighing myself on saturday. i was at work and we were all messing around with the dog scale and i hopped on. i knew i hadn't lost anything (which i hadn't) but i figured i wasn't lighter cuz i've been having my period this past week.

Don't worry about the gym thing. It doesn't work if you don't enjoy it. We have one in our office building and I go everyday because it is time I don't have to sit at my desk. I used to not take a 1 hr lunch and do something but now I do and I enjoy it. However if I had to try and force myself to go after work in the evenings I am sure I would hate it and not do it at all.

ADPialum-
I hear you on the gym at work thing. They place I work now has one (very tiny), but it is the best thing in the world to go take a yoga class at noon. I wish more companies would do it!

I totally don't want to sound like your parents, but...you should find something at the gym that you really like. I used to hate running (residual memories from playing soccer/softball where running was a punishment) but I started slowly and now I like it. So I do that and weight training at the gym. I have friends who like kickboxing or step aerobics. It's all personal preference I guess. Don't do it because you want to lose weight, think of your future health and it may be more of a motivator! That's what I do because heart disease runs in my family. Just my 2 cents!

I haven't found anything I like to do though.
I hate running. I won't do it. EVER. So I hate using the machines. I've tried the classes and none of them really interest me. I play hockey and I like to dance. I want to start taking dance lessons again but I haven't found a school that will take students after classes have already started.

That's a good idea, I have a girlfriend who signed up at a dance studio and she prefers that over the gym. Also a lot of gyms offer like hip hop or belly dancing classes-those are totally fun!
