You do it if you're trying to save money on a ticket - but seeing as how (almost) everyone on this show isn't exactly hurting for money, it doesn't make sense.

I kept asking myself the same damn question too.

I could possibly go for that if William hadn't have said that the hotel room was $1600 a night.

Not only the route, but what was up with the hotel? Did the airline pay for that room? It seems like the writers were trying to pull an idea from the "Martin" episode where Gina, Martin and the gang were going to this resort and ended up with this hooked up trip from a cereal box. Then, Martin and Gina encounter that big azz rodent.

Whatever. I did like the part where the other friends realized why Joan is so "over the top at Christmas". They have too much access to her house.

Yeah, but the difference is that the "Martin" episode was funny.

ITA w/CT4. The more I watch this show (*sigh*, yep I'm back to watching this mess), the more I realize that these women are light-weight CRUEL to each other. I have never sat around and talked about a friend of mine the way these women do. They even went so far as to say that Joan has no life and implied that she is pitiful. And let me say that none of those three hags (Toni, Maya and Lynn) have no reason to condemn anybody.

Writers of "Girlfriends"....please do better. I know you can.

CT4, I wish TWOP did recaps of "Girlfriends." Now THAT would be even funnier than the actual show.

Yeah, Joan has enough of a life to have her own home. Hell, they never congregate at Toni's or Maya's or Lynn's.

If TWOP recapped Girlfriends, I would get fired. I spent yesterday reading D. H. recaps' eps 1 - 5.

Ahh! The famous Chilligan's Island episode! That has to be the funniest episode of them all.

I agree! Maya wouldn't have had an income for years, Toni would be alone in the world, and Lynn's azz would have been homeless if it wasn't for her! I must admit that those damn cell warmers were a hot mess though
