Re: Can Somebody tell Foxy Brown to sit her behind down

*Cue the Brooke Valentine song. “It’s about to be a what? … Girlfight!”

Sadly, a new hip hop beef has begun. We take you down to “The Bottom,” a.k.a. Miami, Florida, where a scheduled recording session between Foxy Brown, fellow Brooklyn rapper Krazy and the city’s own Jacki-O resulted in a girlfight and Foxy being thrown off the premises.

“I was all for the idea of having her join us in the studio," said Jacki-O in a statement released by her publicist. "That shows how much respect I had for her.”

According to the rep, Foxy entered Circle House Studios “Hollywood style, and became upset that she wasn’t greeted the way she would normally be greeted.”

Foxy reportedly stepped out of the studio in a huff and began talking smack about Jacki – in full earshot of Ms. O. Upon Foxy’s return, the two rappers tried to have a sit down and work things out, but according to Jacki’s rep, “Foxy started it off with a ‘Do you know who I am?’”

A fight reportedly ensued and Foxy was forced to leave the premises.

“This was not the way I wanted it to go down," said Jacki-O. "I was looking forward to working with her on a song. We are two women in hip-hop and should be able to come to the table together. She forced me to show her who is the Madam of Miami.”

No word yet from Trina “The Baddest B****” regarding that last comment.
I was just about to post this. Inga Marchant is acting up something serious.

CANTON, Ohio -- The City Council is considering renaming a street for the O'Jays, and the move has been revised to avoid confusing the honor with O.J. Simpson.

Councilman Thomas West has proposed renaming a portion of Mahoning Road in tribute to the singing group that got their start in Canton. The council discussed the idea Monday night and could vote next month.

One business was concerned that people would think the street was named after Simpson, acquitted of the 1994 murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman. West agreed to change the request to The O'Jays Boulevard instead of O'Jays Boulevard.

Not to sound ridiculous, but so what if it sounds like OJ Simpson? He is a man who holds records in the NFL and was proven not guilty of a crime. Can we get over this, please? Plus, you're in Ohio. Everyone knows that you are naming this street for the singing group. Let's get serious.

Chauncey had a good voice. I just hope he's not trying to ride on the Blackstreet name. They're old news now.

Dave had 2 or 3 CDs. All of them were great. He can come back with another one at anytime and I'd buy it immediately.

Want to Help Lil Kim not go to the slammer

WANT TO HELP LIL KIM OUT? WEBSITE NOW AVAILABE TO RECEIVE LETTERS OF SUPPORT FOR THE RAPPER

As her June 24 court sentencing date nears, rapper Lil’ Kim is taking fans up on their offers of help and support. ICE CUBE TO FILM ANOTHER 'FRIDAY' MOVIE TITLED 'SATURDAY'?
ICE CUBE HAS FRIDAY ON HIS MIND AGAIN!
Rapper-turned-movie star Ice Cube is considering returning to his 'Friday' film franchise three years after swearing festive comedy 'Friday After Next' would be his last. The XXX: State of the Union star has played unlucky Craig Jones in three hit 'Friday' movies, which he also co-wrote, and now his co-stars want him to return for another installment. Cube states, "That's starting up again and starting to rekindle. Every time I put it to bed, people start to ask about it. "Mike Epps (co-star) is asking about it and John Witherspoon (co-star) wants to do another one, so when you get those people excited, you start to say, 'Hey.' "We've got a few things in development, in the mix, but I don't really like to talk about it until I know that they can be made." Rumor has it that the entire cast of the first Friday will be coming back for the last one; including Chris Tucker, Regina King, Nia Long (who Ice Cube also starred in 'Are We There Yet'), AJ Johnson, Faizon Love, Paula Jai Parker and Bernie Mac.

It sounds like political maneuvering. I hope she sticks it out until 2007. If not, she has already helped the school tremendously.
