I kind of felt like something was missing since Ebony is now gone. I miss her theatrics.

I must have not been paying attention or something, but why didn't Robin go eat with the group when whats-her-name's mom was visiting?

Also, shame on that football player for being nasty towards Robin. But when she yelled "he was LUSTING!!" I started cracking up.

Ever since last week when they mentioned Shannon's big teeth, that is all I notice She was too stiff in the movement photos.

Elyse's man DOES look like her twin! When they were kissing you couldn't even tell who was who. And when she was crying to her mom it was sooo dramatic....waaaah! waaaaah! I am too smart for this!!! waaaaah!

Janice's face looks like a weathered old boot and I think they never show her standing up for a reason. I was like WTF? when she was criticizing Kesse's photo, but Kesse took it very well. I think they all know to take Janice's comments with a grain of salt by now.

I am SOOO glad that GIN-selle is out! She is pathetic, but that photo with the jump did look cool.

Does Tyra have the final say in each round and at the end? Sometimes it seems like the marjority of the judges want someone out, but if Tyra likes her, she stays in.

1. A reason wasn't given for why Robin didn't eat although Adrianne though she was being rude.

2. I think that Tyra might have the final say, especially the way Janice just dogs both Kesse and Robin.

Why is Robin constantly picking on Elyse? The first incident was when she said that Elyse wouldn't eat any pizza, then during the slumber party looking meeting that they had with Tyra, she made reference to people having eating disorders. It appears to me that she is always making little subtle and at times, blatant snide remarks about Elyse. I think she has singled that girl out because she never speaks up for herself to anyone, she just make references to things that have been said or done to her to other people. She needs to confront Robin. I feel that putting her in her place will have to be done if she wants to stop hearing the comments. It's starting to piss me off and it ain't even got nuttin' ta do wit me!!!!!!!


If the girl has an eating disorder, that's her business!!!!!!!!!

Whoa, child. As a journalist, I do understand the place of opinion pieces. I also understand the point of television reviews. Your little article fell into neither of those categories. Generalizations are something that the journalism community tries to avoid. Your “I hate to thinks” are almost laughable. I hate to think that the picture on your website rattlerbrat.conforums.com) is you. I hate to think that all FAMU students are hateful, whining brats. I hate to think this article represents the freelance arena. But I do take my time and think. You appear to look down your nose at “backwoods hicks” with “accents thick enough to cut with machetes.”

Last time I checked Florida wasn’t the hotbed of standard speaking ability. One look at the local rap scene tells us that. Or is it “you don’t know nann?” And to feebly attempt to discredit TSU’s academic history, does not only insult Miss Manning, but insults every Tiger graduate.

Then you take issue with Robin’s faith. Evangelism is a ministry in most practiced faiths. Persons testify to the goodness of God or
preach of His redemption in most church services. And as I’ve said before I know quite a bit about the Roman Catholic faith. Isn’t judgment commonplace in Catholicism? Remember confession and penance? If giving someone a Bible passage is attacking, then so be it. Most adult Baptist folks were “saved” because of a Bible verse.

And for Robin’s fight (You do use this word a bit loosely. A bit thin-skinned, huh?) with Ebony. Yes, she walked away singing. So, what? How many times have you walked away from a disagreement? Would it have been better if she walked away spewing curse words? Instead of escalating an argument (take note of this more fitting word), she walked away. And on the subject of Ebony’s girlfriend, most organized religions do say that homosexuality is wrong. I believe that does include Catholicism.

And for the “ba-doon-ka-donk” dance contest, Robin said that she was a Christian, not Christ. Most folks walking the earth are “works in progress.” I guess Catholics don’t go to “’da Club.”

Let me close by saying that for a person It’s “not the reality TV type” you certainly have been playing close attention to everything Robin is saying. Let me play Dr. Phil for a moment. Maybe if you entered the contest, you wouldn’t be so jealous and hateful now.

Either way, you didn’t, Robin did. She’s there living your dream, so don’t be resentful. And if you are don’t pass off your little “chat room” hate, as a true article. You insult the journalism profession, and we already had enough of that with Jayson Blair.

The person that this was written in response to is a girl at my school, who I actually happen to know. She is very outspoken and has a prominent position at the campus newspaper. She tends to go against the grain quite often, in my opinion, to get a response. After Halle Berry won her Oscar, this girl wore a "Halle Berry sucks" T-Shirt around campus. Her articles always tend to be negative towards celebrities or issues that are popular and generally favored among the campus.

The original article is here. She also has an entire webpage dedicated to this article. Apparently, she has been lots of mail from members of DST. Therefore, she has launched some sort of arsenal attack againt the org. It's pretty stupid, if you ask me. Whatever happened to DISCRETION? I found out that Robin got a contract with Baby Phat thanks to Kimora Lee Simmons.

I also know when she will be eliminated.

I didn't want to just post it because I din't want to ruin the suspense for you like it was ruined for me.

I'll still watch because I was told that it gets cattier as the weeks go by.

By the way, miss FAMU looks TERRIBLE!!!
There's no way that she would have made it past the front doors let alone the preliminaries.

I'm just saying, don't put it out there if you don't want to get scrutinized.

After my last post, I went to her website and read the full article for myself and quite a few of the responses. I read on there that she said that someone was pushing her to try out for the competition and that she was a finalist in a cover model search. Having seen this girl quite often, this came as a complete shock to me. She is not ugly, but she is not striking either. She does not have the model look and if my memory serves me correctly, she's not very tall either. I don't know if she is serious about trying to be a model of if that is just something that she wrote on a website.

Also, I don't think that she was serious about ever wanting to pursue Delta. Our school is very large so the competition is fierce and rumors circulate very quickly. The girls who say "I'm thinking about XYZ" publicly are the ones who keep on thinking about it while the others with discretion are the ones who actually do it. I honestly think that everything she wrote was designed to get a rise out of her reading audience.
