That quota number is a bit high. With 2,250 girls evenly divided amongst 16 houses, the number would be 140, but that would mean no one dropped or got dropped. I would say a more realistic number would be around 105. Obviously, some houses will take more to ensure their pledge classes are filled out.

This is my daughter's first year as an active and I'm just as excited this year as I was last year - without all the stress! I can't wait to hear to hear where girls land and see pictures. All you moms will be able to relax soon!

As a matter of fact, according to the Crimson White newspaper a few days ago, the actual number of signups was 2,276; sounds like the 2,250ish number was the ballpark figure given out. Though I guess that doesn't affect the final quota number much.

My rec girl is still in the running. She didn't update me on her progress, but she did post this morning about her excitement for Bid Day. I'm curious to find out where she goes since I have privately made my predictions.
Other girl that I was to write a rec...who knows. She didn't contact me until after July 4th and then never called me back. GPA was low so it would surprise me if she wasn't dropped.
