i'm all for living in a simple place. no olympic size jacuzzi's or big screen TVs.
a fireplace, lots of sofas for lounging, a huge library, and lots of board games. and a stereo. nothing big, just something to play idlewild and modest mouse at night and stroke 9 and puya during the day. and a nice kitchen, so that I can cook lots of good food for everyone, except cookies, because i always seem to ruin those, no matter what i do.
in terms of drama, my living space would be the part of GC Life that doesn't make it to TV because it's not "exciting" enough, but people would talk about it all the time. "I'm so worried about Vanessa, all she does is read classical literature and play scrabble, she needs to come out and drink with us more."
oh, and no kegs over here. just my good friends smirnoff and bacardi. and lots of wine.

I want a GC Subway stop!!! We must be able to get the YES network also!.....Let's add 2 pools: one heated indoor pool and one outdoor pool, we need min of 2 dance floors, playing diffrent kinds of music.....A kitchen that serves up all diffrent kinds of food, 24/7, We need a huge stero system...but also a quiet room with books, cards, and board games. We are going to need that time to sit, relax, and of course study for the undergrads . We need both wireless internet and T1 connection all over the wing. Everyone designed his/her room to thier liking..and I want a roomie (a certain KLP sis!)...what else shoudld we include in the NYC wing?

Okay...I just read through this thread, and found many things that need to be changed.
FIRST, AggieSigmaNu, as a Texan and a SN wife, I'm very disappointed that you didn't think to put a MECHANICAL BULL or even a barbershop chair (a la Mexico's Crazy Lazy). That is just what the Texas wing is missing.
Second, y'all should start working on the guest house for us married GCers. We have to have somewhere to stay too. OH, and make sure there's a babysitter!
Third, in the commons area, there should be a giant jello-o wrestling pit...just for the fun of it.
That's all from me right now!
aj
PS to AlphaSigOU...I'm from Plano too! YEAH!

DOH!
I KNEW i was forgetting something. And by Crazy Lazy do you mean the chair you sit in and hold onto the metal posts while they run electric current through them? Not that I've ever done that
And jello? or KY wrestling? Creamed Corn maybe in an homage to our GC buddies from Nebraska
Kitso
KS 361 times i'd never pay a dollar to sit in an electric chair, but if one of my buddies pays......HELL YEAH!

Good point. The alum wing is an obvious choice, since many alums are married.
OK, let's add a number of apartments... one-bedroom apartments for any cohabiting couples (married or not), and two- or three-bedroom apartments for anyone with kids. If you have kids, your welcome basket includes Greek101 t-shirts for the kids as well as for yourselves.
And we'll throw in a full day care center that opens at 7am so we can drop the kids off before leaving for work, and stays open until well after the bars close
You do realize they'll be able to see the GC house from orbit??

Bumping.
I think we need an Intimidating Hotness wing. With at least three fireplaces.
