Seriously, if the Leafs defense plays a little tighter, Tucker doesn't pull anymore stupid penalties. and Nolan gets off his ass and does something (I realize he is hurt, but this is the play-offs! Suck it up!)

I was looking at www.nhl.com the other day, and I have to say, they have these new hockey jerseys designed with women in mind. I think they're rather sassy.
You can see the jerseys here (because of course women just should not wear the men's jerseys....it's a BAAAAAAD look <shudder>)!

I think several reasons: (1), they haven't won the cup in a LONG time (I think it is now the longest dry spell between titles, since Detroit (argghhhh) ended their drought in 1997). (2), they have such high expectations of their fans (which is noble) but always seem to find a way to fall short (though they did get rid of CuJo, so there is hope).

I would rather see an Avs-Leafs finals versus Avs-Ottowa. Of course, the Colorado boys have this nasty habit of taking every single playoff series since 2001's finals to seven games. That is getting very annoying, and they are really playing with fire when they do that.

I didn't see the show, but the easy answer is that the Leafs are usually considered the thugs of the NHL.

Hmmm..well, the Canadian answer to that is that everyone picks on Toronto. Not sure why, I lived there for a year, and it's a great city with tons to offer.

I guess the answer to that would be "Don't hate us cuz you ain't us".

Will be tuning in tonight to cheer on my LEAFS and my CANUCKS (my hometown team).

No kidding man! Seven str8 game 7 series dating back to their 2nd Stanley Cup year! Guys, it should have been Avs win series 4-1, now tonight it's gonna be Avs win series 4-3
