I wasn't expecting Jeffrey to win with all of the drama surrounding him but his work was done well.
Uli's collections was FIYAH! Her model Nazri worked that last dress.
I can see Laura designing high end evening wear. Her beading and attention to detail was on point.
I've been a fan of Michael's since the beginning (the dress made out of coffee filters was soooo creative) but I have to say I wasn't wow'd with his collection. He'll definately get work either as a stylist or as a designer.

I am definatley unhappy with the show right now. I think Jeffery's attitude sucked this whole season. However he did have some decent peices, not my style though.Michael has been consistent throughout the show and I think that's got to count for something.
I think Uli really stepped it. That swimsuit was the one of the hottest things I have seen in a good long time. I think the top two should have been Uli and Michael. I would wear all the clothes Uli and Michael had and that long white dress that Michael had first that laced up and had that gold belt was sharp.

Jeffrey did what he had to do in terms of putting together a rounded collection. It is definitely not my aesthetic, but he did show some range. And the producers knew that his selection would be unpopular. Hence, the heavy emphasis on his interactions with Babyperson Harrison Detroit, although any good father would do what he does.
As much as I love Michael, he did take risks and he did stumble in the last challenge as well as the couture challenges. He's a sportswear designer and that's his strength. Again, he'll have a career.
Same with Laura. Look on New York Social Diary to see who her clientele would be. Although I love her pregnancy dress and would wear a similar outfit if I got married, only in cream or blush pink. And no, I'm not getting married any time soon.
Ulrike also stretched herself. If no Laura or Michael, I'd have been comfortable with Uli as winner. I loved the sand color fabric, and it was surprisingly interesting with silver.

I love Michael Knight, but my God those clothes on the website are HOOCHIE!!!!!! Wow hooker wear! Same thing I thought about his collection- he needed to turn it down about ten notches for it to be anything approaching elegant or sophisticated. I can see it'll do well with video hoochies.
The Knight Rider beat was fiyah though.

I knew Jeffrey was going to win when they showed a comercial of the winner of the very first season. I remember that dudes line was artsy-stupid stuff that normal people in their right mind wouldnt wear. Kara Saun (sp) was the best of that season.
I really didnt want Jefferey to win.
Micheal's collection wasnt his best work. Uli had the overall best collection.
Was Micheal voted the fan's favorite.
Micheal always struck me as straight. But Brandy gets two thumbs down.

I knew they were not going to pick Michael after seeing his collection. It was not his best work. He should have focused more on sportswear which was where he BROUGHT IT all season long. I do think his taste needs to mature or he needs to be designing for a more young/teen oriented line than for grown women with sophistication to their trend. He was my favorite all season long and I REALLY wanted him to win.
Based on the runway shows, though, I would have picked Uli all the way. I knew they were going to pick Jeffrey. I knew each challnege he was going to win based on the designs and chances he took with it.

I think Jeffrey deserved to win. I personally loved Michael (moreso his attitude) and Laura (classic). However, Jeffrey was BY FAR the most innovative designer. Mind you, I'm not into his style, but it is very wearable in LA. I see girls walking around like that all the time.
But, I think next year they need to level the playing field. I really don't think it was fair to have Jeffrey (or someone with their own line) competing. He was at an advantage.
