I tried like hell to get tickets....didn't happen.
It's cool - a couple of buddies are coming into town and we're going to watch the game at some local bars (probably Jillian's...not quite sure yet). It should still be fun, even if we can't get into the park.
Should be ridiculous though...I work out at Gold's across from Fenway, I can't wait to see the atmosphere there when I go for my workouts. It had been crazy around my place for the Oakland series, and I'm a good mile away from Fenway.

Anybody going to Fenway Game 3
Pedrito Martinez, the baddest 160-pound man alive, takes on Roger Clemens. I'm going to have to tape this -- I have a function to attend tomorrow. Should be a good one, but I'd still like to see 100% Pedro. He's been effective, but not the usual Pedrito Mondesi domination.

I would do absolutely anything for tickets to that game. It should be one for the ages - Pedro vs Clemens in Clemens' last appearance at Fenway Park. It'll be one of those games people will talk about for a LONG time, no matter what happens.
I personally can't wait - the two most dominant starting pitchers of the past 25 years facing off.

I walked by Fenway this morning on my way to the gym, and it was already crazy at 8 am. There were people screaming, a line formed halfway around the ballpark. Cops were all over the place, and someone was being arrested for trying to cut the line. He almost got punched in the face, the cops saved his tail.
Gotta love Boston during baseball season.

I can see why they were mad a Pedro but why send a 72 year old man to take a swing at Pedro? He is lucky Pedro only threw him down. If Pedro threw a punch he might have got killed. The Yankees are evil. Send Torre at him not your frail old man to try to get outrage at Pedro to try to get him thrown out.

The Yankees Win, The Yankees Win!!!!!
With that being said...the game was awsome! Forgetting for a minute about all the other stuff that went on, thegame itself was amazing. Pedro vs. Clemens, one run game, amazing!
Pedro was messed up with what he did to Zim, however Zim was also wrong. Pedro had no right to throw him down, or to point at his head and say to Posada that he is going to throw at his head. It was !@#$%^ up majorly! And what was up with the groundkeeper in the Yankee bullpen??? And why didn't a Yankee player go afte Pedro, that would have been the right thing, not Zimmer. But I can't blame Zim 100%, think about it. He has spent weeks in a coma and has a steel plate in his head from being hit by a pitch back in his playing days! That is what caused him to go out there

I totally understand the rest of reasoning, but "The Yankees are evil"? Wow. Not so sure about that. How about when Manny Ramirez takes a dive on a Clemens pitch that was nowhere near his head? Wasn't that an attempt to get Clemens tossed?
It certainly was a hell of a game - Zim never should have been out there after Pedro, both Pedro and Clemens pitched pretty well, and I'm glad the Yanks came out on top.
