Dang it!! I just got the heat fixed in the Green Machine!! Now we have to ration the heat in the car so we won't burn up a lot of gas!!

There won't be leisure driving any time soon until prices go down!

$1.95 is relatively cheap. Here in Kollyfornia, I paid $2.26 at a Costco for 87 octane unleaded. It's more expensive at outside gas stations.
I'm thankful that I have a small car that gets decent gas mileage and no longer feel embarrassed because I'm 40 and still have a small car. I'd rather spend my money on other things.

dayum, Conskeeted7, ...what are you driving, a city bus?
a friend who works in that industry once told me that Tuesdays/Wednesdays were the best (read: cheapest) days to buy gasoline. For the most part I've found that to be true.

I'd feel better if it was a city bus. That way I'd be able to get some money back by charging fares...We filled up the Mountaineer and put a few gallons in the other car for $71...it hurts to even say that.

^^
This morning, I filled my 13.2 gallon tank Mazda at a Costco in Irvine, Calif. I put in just over 10 gallons, and it was $2.27 for 87.
91 octane was $2.43. Costco doesn't sell 89.

There's a Chevorn here that was $2.01 for regular, 2.11 for mid grade and 2.21 for premium. HC I just about died because gas prices are 1.95-1.99 for unleaded? HC I going to have to get a part-time job just so I can have gas money?
