A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered. ).
Hi,Molly
I will start here first. They key words if this definition are "no product or service being delivered". We have great products that are helping myself as well as alot of people live healthier lives. I was the BIGGEST skeptic of the all till I tried the product. So I tried out our FIT product for a few weeks and I saw results(11lbs to be exact). So my thing was if this can help me,I know it can help my friends and family as well. Network Marketing is a bonafied business module that is being taught at several colleges and universities around the country. Its legit. I gladly invite you out to one of our breifings evry Monday at The Raddison Hotel in Largo,MD to see it first hand. Or I can gladly get you some samples so you can try the product for yourself. Alot of it is visual and just seeing it first hand.

Tell me how Agel is not a pyramid scheme. Here is the description of "how it works" from the website you have in your signature:

How would you like an Income Building System that does 95% of the work for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

A system that not only does the selling and the training of your new members for you, but also starts putting associates into your business before you even contact them.

In fact, every person who signs up from this MyGelFusion website “after you” will be placed directly below the last person who signed up. So if you signed up today, everyone who signed up after you would be placed directly in your organization!.

Why are we putting people in your business anyways?

We actually make more money by helping you succeed! This gives us a strong incentive to do everything we can to help you make money. Anyone of these people we are placing in your business can represent $1,000's in residual income to you and your family for years to come.

You have the opportunity to leap ahead of everyone who visits this site after you if you take action and sign up before them.

And of course, if you do not want to risk losing any potential associates or members, you will need to sign up immediately.

Can you imagine how many people we will be able to place in your business in one month...6 months...1 year from now??

No, your company can still be a scam if it's taking advantage of low level sales people such as yourself. The quality of the product has nothing to do with being a MLM. It's the business structure, not the quality of the product, that are in question.

If you really want to be a businessman, then start presenting yourself properly.

It's nearly impossible to take someone seriously who uses netspeak like "b4", spells many words incorrectly and does not know how to use proper grammar, punctuation or sentence structure. It's not like a typo here and there, we can barely read and understand your posts.

And as I said a few posts back, you don't have your own business. You're a lackey in someone else's business.

You sell little packets of juice? How does that work? You can drink them?

Dual-Marketing Concept

Mary Kay Inc maintains it's "dual-marketing" not Multi-level, but the IRS disagrees saying there are only TWO types of direct selling companies.... single or multi-level.

Does anyone have any good resources regarding Dual-Marketing?

Smile I believe in MaryKay.....

I believe that the Mary Kay business is not a scam or a lie. When I went to a meeting, no one pressured me into joining or buying inventory. They don't teach you how to recruit and all the other stuff any of you have mentioned. If you don't make anything out of MK it is because you fail to try. I started MK with $300 and doubled it in less than two weeks. It does truly work for the people who keep Mary Kay Ash's memory alive. I don't lie to my customers on who she was and her story. Her products do work and I do test all of the products before I recommend them to anyone. Please don't ruin her good name and reputation. She was a remarkable woman.

I hate it when people Google Mary Kay and they find this discussion on GreekChat and they feel the need to take the time to register AND defend her name and honor.

People still aren't convinced, sorry.

I do not have to defend her honor. Many women believe in her and the company she left behind. You are in titled to your own opinion so don't hate on my opinion and hard core facts. I'm glad you are not in MK, you would have never carried on her wishes well (we are not selfish people as yourself). You will never get it and why many women love her and her company so.

Wow.

Most of the women on this site are members of women's fraternities, so we very much understand the struggle females had to be successful.

Wanna hear about Jobelle Holcombe? or Ina Mae Boles? or Allie Simmonds? or Jean Vincenheller???

PS McDonalds and WalMart do not make house calls.
What she said!

Those parties suck @$$!!! One of my really good friends just started selling MK, while I don't have bad opinions of the product, I believe in going to the store to get what I want......when I want it!

Then you of all.........

Then you of all people should have learned how to see the good in women helping women. IF Mary Kay was such a scam, why does her company donate most of their percentages to finding cures for cancers that affect women and domestic violence. Open your eyes and learn how to trust. I've done my investigation on MK and the company as did others before me. Do not fill people with misinformation and your bad experience or misjudgment. Just because you do not like something does not mean you have to ruin it for others.

I'm a Mary Kay consultant
I think too many live obliviously inside their "pink bubble"
I love the product, but it is kinda a "culty" group
