I think they should throw Burkett tomorrow against Pettitte. I'm serious too - save Lowe for Fenway, where his ERA is 3.50 runs lower.

Wasn't so easy - game was really a battle throughout, I give Wakefield a lot of credit for pitching a great game.
Hopefully the team goes with Lowe at the Stadium, although I don't think there's any chance they pitch him on the road.

gotta agree with you.. definitely wasn't easy. the sox had some big hits and got lucky on the call with walker's home run, although looking back it might not have mattered if they would have gone with the first base umpires call. i thought there was great pitching and expected it to be a close game.
i did read this morning that they were going to use Lowe tonight. i wish they wouldn't...
it's going to be a good series, though!
