He annoys me. I understand there's a certain eliteness to being Greek since we were chosen to be in our respective orgs, but there's no need to be an utter snob about it like he's been. Not being Greek doesn't make you any less of a person. I don't prounce around in my Zeta gear because I think it makes me look cool (like I bet he does) and I damn sure wouldn't be upset if I saw a homeless person (man or woman) wearing my letters on some hoodie - I would be glad she had something to keep her warm, however she came upon the garmet (ok, that last part was a side note, but whatever).

My point to him is, mature a little and think before you make stupid broad generalizations like he has been all over GC.

And btw, just because I'm Southern, doesn't make me a Greek snob - I actually believe in my creed, thank you very much, and there's nothing in there that says being Greek, or a Zeta in particular, makes me better than anyone else.

"To be true to ourselves and to those within and without our circle... to find satisfaction in being rather than seeming, thus strengthening in us the higher qualities of the spirit... to look for the good in everyone...striving ever to make our lives a symphony of high ideals, devotion to the Right, the Good, and the True, without a discordant note..."

Fair enough. BTW, nice use of LOLCats (at least that's the only place I've seen spelling like that used).

I'm ready to do a new thread on the Split Personalities of some of our GC'rs.

I was just saying that my GLO can't have our letters on shirts, its a national thing, not local. I can't believe anyone was offended by that... seriously.

I highly doubt that people took offense to your GLO's national policy on letters.

Based on the posts you leave, I believe it was YOU they found offensive, even in an innocent post in a thread like this.

It's all in the way you state things that makes them come across as offensive. Like I suggested before, thinking before you make statements like that may save you from GCers like myself getting on your case and consistently quoting your posts to call you out.

Oh the irony.

Sorry, girl, you set yourself up. Thanks.

I don't doubt that one bit and I knew you'd catch that BUT, and I think you will agree, that I certainly learned a lesson here on GC and I've definitely made a concerted effort to practice what I preach. TEH INTARWEBS R SO HARSCH!

Yes, I will agree that you've been less n00b lately.

I don't care what you think, its just ridiculous to get your panties in a bunch over a completely innocent post. I don't agree with most of the posters on this board, I'm on here because there are a few people that I like on here and there are occasionally good ideas.

Fine, don't take my advice. You gotta grow up some day...

It's a "once bitten, twice shy" thing. I say innocent things that a lot of times get taken snarky, because I am generally snarky (for entertainment value only...all in good fun...usually).
