She's bored and needed something to think about.

I have been gone for a year or so before, too. And I'll be gone again. The aliens that abducted me only released me for a week so I can post on GC. They are coming back to get me this weekend.

I think it does seem odd if someone who is a very frequent poster stops posting all of a sudden. I think there's a natural curiosity about why, not that anyone is obligated to explain.

And when Senusret notes one of these about the absence, it only dials up the mystery.
