Because the groups probably do get their lists earlier in the day so they can snap if they need to, it may not be that unbelievable for that info to be out.
Where was that post?

Groups get their lists of new members earlier in the day so they have the ability to personalize things for their girls, snap bid if necessary, etc., so of course there are going to be people who know how many pledges/legacies each group took.

It wasn't me. It was Titchou who reported quota as well as the DG result and how many legacies DG took. I just passed along her info. I don't have an inside source for Auburn.
ETA: It's in the DG recruitment results thread.

AuburnMom, I'm so sorry that rush didn't work out for your daughter, but it sounds like she made a thoughtful, informed decision. Best of luck to her as she begins to settle into her new school year.
Please encourage her to look into COB, if available, and especially into the Kappa Alpha Theta colonization. Theta is an amazing, very strong national org. Our first lady, Laura Bush, is a Theta (SMU,) as is her daughter, Jenna (Texas.)

Actually, as far as I know, both Bush twins (Jenna and Barbara) are members of Theta. Barbara was a member at Yale.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure I'm right.

You are 100% correct.
And as long as we are listing Republicans, you can toss Cheney's wife and McCain's wife in as well.
Of course, Theta has many well-known members that are not necessarily republican, and Theta nationally takes no political stand. I personally just find all those connections amusing.
